Great to see you and other Americans , saying how much they appreciate his music. Your'e in good company, because I believe Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and even Neil Young, really loved his music. RIP Slim. An Australian legend who was appreciated by fans of a variety of genres of music, here in Australia. He was also huge amongst the Aboriginal community, and he worked hard to break down racial barriers, regularly playing in remote outback Aboriginal communities, where they went nuts when he made those efforts to drive thousands of miles to entertain them. :)
