Houdini is a nod to the fact that this will supposedly be his last album. I.E. he's going to 'disappear' from the game. And judging by the amount of bars in this song (which are sooo freaking hard to catch without reading the lyrics) he's about to do it with even more style than Houdini did. GOAT

@@dev_jon4596 Exactly, kind of what I meant by 'supposedly.' Houdini was known for his disappearing acts on stage, but always came back for another performance until he actually died. Such a brilliant reference, esp if he takes a break for a while and then comes back!

How the hell did you get the idea this is his last album? The song itself because everyone already had that thought he was retiring that Em makes perfectly clear! The only way he will ever take alieve/ A leave is to break a Feve!! He is telling everyone he is not going anywhere. This album is bringing Shady into the present to take on cancel culture and Shady merges with Eminem, It's also a way for Em to draw in fans who say we want the old Em and show them the old Em is in him and has always been there if they took the time to listen. ​@@dev_jon4596Ems concept I believe anyway is bringing the 2002 attitude to confront society and cancel culture and how soft everyone is getting and using the Shady persona to get cancelled, it's the only way he could make his career disappear 😂. Like 02 Shady, Em can use the persona to say some current unacceptable shit and when it's over still be Eminem like he did back then because they couldn't cancel the Shady character back then no matter how hard they tried. Yet it's crazy if Em was to say these things as Eminem or Marshall he'd get into real trouble 😂it's funny and genius that Em created a character to shield him. Stay blessed 👊🏼

You seem to be missing the whole point of the song title though. Houdini is a very specific song name for a very good reason. Again, GOOGLE.

I'm 53, my kids were born in '95 & '97... My 10 year class reunion was '99... The year Em came onto the scene! ❤ I've followed him his whole career & my kids love him too! My daughter moved to China 5 years ago to teach & her coworkers nicknamed her Slim Shady cuz she's American, white & has blonde hair 😂 She also told me that one night they went out to karaoke in Shanghai & one of her coworkers did Without Me word for word! 👍🎶🥰 Great reaction btw! I just wish Em would have kept Dre in through the end cuz I don't care for that guy at the ending.. imo. Other than that, best Marahall coming out ❤ Also... People who don't know must watch the original "Without Me" video begore Houdini and it will make more sense.. jus sayin' ❤

I enjoy all of Em's songs, but Stan is my favorite song also because I love the collaboration with Dido on it. Dido's song Thank You was already one of my favorites and it made the Stan song hit a special chord with me. I love watching reactions to this video and the song is 🔥. The album is called "The Death of Slim Shady". So, 2024 Eminem is going to be the one to "kill" 2002 Slim Shady. He already alluded to the fact that the 2002 himself would be out of place and 'canceled' in today's weak-ass world. I think 2002 Slim will "go away", but only for a little bit. His 'death' will be publicized but he won't really be 'dead', because as this video shows, 2002 Slim and 2024 Eminem merged into a hybrid monster. That's what it will wind up being I think.
