I also enjoyed the fact that he chose to sing in French only. It’s a pity when generic singers choose to sing in English to represent their non-English speaking country, when their own native language is absolutely beautiful. An international competition is a great opportunity to showcase your language and culture.

On that night...I didn't care about my own country germany..and Isaak had an amazing vocal...but Slimane...I love him since the voice....he is just amazing....he deserved first/second next to Nemo.....I just love his performance ❤😊

He was my 2nd favorite (after Nemo), i didn't like official studio version of the song but after his performances i've changed my mind, he sings so beautiful and he creates intimate atmosphere :)
