hello STINKERS !!! here's another MBMBAM video after three months, I know it's been long and arduous without new content, but I'm back and better than ever ! I made one based off some cursed audio that I absolutely LOVE it's so awful and gross [literally looking up staph infection as a reference nearly made me puke] but I love listening to Griffin getting absolutely irate lmao,,, but anyways comment below who you'd side with, Food Guy or Feet Guy 👀

Yeah, I've cleaned offices where folks just throw their garbage on the ground under their desk. And complaining about it does nothing. You'd think in a professional setting like that, they'd expect their employees to conduct themselves in a professional manner. One dude was spitting peanut shells on the floor. All over the floor too, not just in one spot.

there were two people at my colelge who were always barefoot and in shorts and thank god my college had a rule you always had to wear shoes inside buildings, both of them kept a pair of flip flops on their backpack they put on to be indoors. This did not change in winter. Saw one of them sprint across the quad in the snow once as he had forgottenw his flip flops at his dorm, khaki shorts and all.

I did a bit of googling and now I'm almost certain that Slimefoot's employer is Epic Systems - a healthcare software company where the dress code is, per their website, "as casual as it gets". Ironic that an employee of such a company would have Staph on one foot and MRSA on the other.

Ok no joke I had 2 friends in college from PNG (Papua New Guinea) and they both did this. One of them was told after going through the cafeteria for months that if they didn’t wear their shoes they wouldn’t be allowed in. Both of them were extremely nice, very cool people, maybe it’s a PNG thing?

To the horror of all, I used to be the person that went barefoot indoors everywhere - at college, and at one workplace where I worked for a very long time. And yes, that includes the bathroom. Here's the thing: at least in the bathrooms I was in, there was never any actual wet piss on the ground, the ground was 100% dry. I think the first time I couldn't avoid standing in piss or worse would have been the time I vowed to always wear shoes, but since that never happened I went on happily. The only thing that stopped me was a lady at work, from a different department than mine, who told me off when she saw me shoeless in the bathroom. To answer the brothers' question as to whether I had a crisis of conscience the first time I went into the bathroom barefoot: nah. See my main mental issue is ADHD, which can sometimes cause me to be completely blind to societal norms. So until that lady told me off, I wasn't even aware it was a problem. At home, I'm still shoeless 100% of the time, though. Justin, at least, is fully aware of the fecal bacteria coating literally every surface thanks to the way flushing toilets work, so it's not like there's all that much difference. Skin is a very effective barrier against most diseases anyway, and foot skin is the thickest on the body. Where you run into problems is when you move bacteria to your mouth or get a cut, then you need to worry about bacteria entering your body, until then, skin's fine, yo. Wash your hands and wash any cuts you get, those are the important bit.

I take my shoes off at work while I'm in my chair, sometimes my socks too, bc wearing stuff on my feet like that bothers me immensely (thanks, SPD! 🙃) But I don't walk around barefoot outside of my little desk area, and even then usually put my sock back on first at least. (I sit cross-legged in chairs, and my feet usually rest on my clothing, not the chair) But still, I would NEVER go barefoot in communal spaces, let alone the _bathroom_

The more I think about it, the less I actually have against this. It's not like wearing normal shoes in the bathroom isn't tracking just as much stuff around the office. If the person themselves has calloused enough feet they can't feel anything it's only weird in a personally putting myself in their position perspective. That being said, as a shower in the morning type of person, this has just as many problems to me as the type of people who take their outdoor shoes to bed with them.

playing devil's advocate here, what difference does it make that they're bare footed going into the bathroom? it doesn't spread any more germs, because it's not like you change into Japanese courtesy slippers when going to a public bathroom normally. you carry the floor germs out on the bottom of your foot, with or without shoes. Now that I think about it, it's probably more sanitary, because your shoes can't shed off dead skin, and I would hope you don't wear your shoes in the shower. also, if it was really that easy to get an infection by just walking barefoot, then the human race would have died out eons ago.

there are very much communicable foot fungi that can get spread from sharing a shower with an infected person, and the more someone who shares your shower with you walks around barefoot the higher chance of them getting an infection in their foot skin that they can give to you via the shower. not to mention pin worms and other freaky stuff. drain fly larvae will sometimes burrow into human skin, and they live specifically around well used drains

The fungus spreads because of the moisture from sweat and enclosed environment of the shoe, that's why it's called athletes foot, athletes are sweating in their shoes all day more than the average Joe. Out of character from the shoeless defender now. I don't know about pinworms, but wearing shoes outside of the shower won't do anything with drain fly larvae burrowing into your skin.

I doubt you're more likely to die from them but it is, in fact easier to get an infection from walking barefoot compared to if you wear shoes. You know, because you don't have an extra layer that protects your skin (including any damaged skin or cuts you may have down there) from the germs on the floor that can make their way through your skin
