Joann has been cancelling my orders, as well! Seems to be an issue with things that are on deep sale/clearance, as it was also Supernova yarn for me. Love the colorway you got! The interview with Cesar was hysterical, you guys have such great chemistry together. You guys always seem so comfortable and in sync!

This issue has been happening to me as well. Not just that, but one of my orders took 2 and a half weeks to get to me from Joann’s😢😢…. Now normally, I really am not one to complain. I’m very grateful for Joann’s yarn, I really am… and I literally have an ENTIRE room full of yarn of all types… but I’m crocheting like 20 gifts this year for Christmas, and some of the specialty yarns I needed really held me behind by almost 3 whole weeks, by not getting them in a timely manner. So frustrating!

I am also not one to complain and I certainly have no shortage of yarn, but a lot of the fun multicolor stuff I ordered was for Christmas gifts because I'm whipping out hats and fingerless gloves left and right, so I would have loved to either had them or known to in advance they weren't going to come through. Do love Joann though, I'll be going in person today to get a few things I need juuust to be safe and avoid the online order issue since I need things to finish up some commissions.

@@voidfancies YES!! Exactly! That’s how I feel too! Exactly! I kept telling my husband, each and every day that I’d check my Joann’s app “I feel like a negative Karen right now!! I really try not to be that way, but I’m so frustrated!! 1/3 of my order was canceled and it’s been several weeks” 😐😐 Of course my husband doesn’t understand…. Because as I was saying, I have an entire room full of yarn… all in huge Rubbermaid totes. 😜 so in his mind, he thinks “you’ve got tons of yarn, don’t worry about it… in fact, why are you buying more yarn” …. Yes, yes…. I am one of those crazy ladies that buys a bunch of yarn when it’s on sale… and hides it from the husband. I put it away before he gets home! I’ve done that for years! … and all my friends do the same thing 😜💕👍🏼

It's an ongoing issue with them honestly. Last order I did, they broke my orders down to 3 and I paid for the 2 shipping. Oh I was mad. I just did an order last Thursday and they ACTUALLY shipped it all and I got it today.

I don’t understand how their order service works, it seems to me they take orders from random stores that have the product in stock? I’m pretty sure I understood that right! So they don’t have a large warehouse, where they store items? So weird. If it really is true that they make all of our orders from separate stores…. No WONDER it takes so long!!!

I wish I could blame the holiday season, but I have had 2 orders canceled on me in the last couple months and when they don't cancel it takes almost two weeks for it to even ship! It's insane, but I keep doing it! -.-"

I get more 'pick up' orders canceled than shipping orders. My joann supposedly has 63 skeins of big twist value in white...but when I try to do a pickup order it gets canceled. My canceled deliveries are usually clearance items I tried to snag.

My local Joann stores are also having the same weird problem! They’re also criminally understaffed and visibly overwhelmed, it’s sad to see on top of being frustrated by the shipping issues. Whatever’s going on internally has to be even worse, hopefully things will be getting better in the coming years with their house brands becoming so successful…if the profits are being allocated correctly, that is. 🥲

That super nova yarn is so beautiful. I tried granny stitch with it… was so ugly lol. So I made a sweater in 4.5 mm single crochet….31 stitches across squares and it was magical 🥹 excited to see how your scarf works up! 😍

I recently bought some of the super nova yarn in the color Planet Jupiter, to make a beanie for my brother for Christmas, and I was shocked when it arrived and said a 2 weight too. In the pictures it looks like a 4 and in person it looks like a 3.
