I have been caring for my elderly Mother full time for the past four years so my travel, camping and backpacking plans have been on hold. As a result I eagerly look forward to your unique and personal videos every Monday. Like many of your viewers I feel as if I am traveling with you. I love the way you take time for the small things, sounds, an insect, rescuing a turtle....I love it all and feel so happy seeing the world through your eyes while I care for my Mom.

@@rachelectroDC-84 yes.. we care for our kids and hope they care about us in the end. Glad you feel this way. I have thought of getting a farmhouse with a view and making rooms available for active seniors like me to garden, raise chickens or just go for a walk in a nice safe place. Grocery store and library close by. They deliver too. I love it.

Only off my homestead to shop for groceries, doctor appointments, and treats from drive-thru restaurants. Yet I can see the sights even in the middle of the night with Slim and his followers. Thanks Slim!

When Mr.Slim said, "This is one thing I have not seen for weeks....rocks" it cracked me up. I grew up about an how from Natchez, MS and when we would go on vacation in Arkansas or Colorado the rocks always fascinated me because there were no cliffs, hills, or rocks/boulders were I lived. The streams with clear water also were a surprise. I was just enthralled by the fact you could see all the way to the bottom of a stream/river. I lived on the Natchez Trace in Mississippi for 2 years and while beautiful the bicyclist make your commute to work and back a living hell sometimes. Because the roads are so curvy you can get stuck behind them for a long while sometimes. Most would be polite and get into the grass and let you pass but some would not budge an inch.

I was lucky enough to check out Silbury Hill (in Avebury UK) this past May, and that 5000 year old bad boy is the largest man made mound in Europe. Absolutely stunning. I find it amazing that people 4000+ miles away were doing the same thing. Can't believe I haven't checked out the mounds in my own country, but after seeing this? It's happening. Plus, Natchez looked so atmospheric I could practically hear Robert Johnson singing Hellhound on My Trail when you were driving down that country road! Awesome video! 👏

Slim, excellent video but you are going to have to put the "Toltec Mounds State Park" which is located in Scott, Arkansas on you list. it is a few miles from North Little Rock, Arkansas just off interstate 440 and the camp site is owned by the Corps of Engineers which is a federal program that monitors federal waters, land, and camp sites. The Toltec Mounds were built by Indians back in the early, early days and there is a lot oh history, i.e., Indian burial ground with lots of artifacts. Just thinking that you may enjoy this site and be safe in your travels.
