It's pretty clear that legally they have no case. That's why they're going fully on emotions, and zero facts. Now that a lot of people are tired of NJs antics, the Bunnies are acting like victims. I saw on a forum someone crying saying "there's so many haters, there's no safe place for Bunnies!" I find the cognitive dissonance astonishing. Because Bunnies are one of the meanest, most toxic fandoms. They were bullies from the start, always attacking other groups, excuse me if I don't feel sorry for you. Like I've been saying this whole time, I can't believe there are still people on NJs side. If they were any other group, the public would have cancelled them instantly. Bunnies are like a cult. They are “changing” the industry by showing other artists that it’s okay to throw unfounded tantrums when they don’t get their way. They are muddying their image and careers to follow one person on a power trip. They have all the potential in the world but, instead of focusing on their craft, they’ve allowed themselves to be used as tools to fight someone else’s battle. NJ was on the rise with growing popularity, but they let this person drill into their heads that big bad HYBE was after them. No, HYBE was after HER because of her back door dirt. NJ will never recover if they don’t let go of MHJ and place their careers as a priority. Even if the succeed and go with MHJ, no one in the industry will trust this woman and the other companies are not going to want to walk on eggshells around NJ in fear that they’ll be labeled as “bullies” when someone doesn’t smile at them.

I think you need to separate the issues. 1. New Jeans express that they have terminated the contract. Depending on what the contract entails, either Hybe or New Jeans will have to file a lawsuit with the court. This will determine if the termination is lawful and who pays who. 2. New Jeans are still working on projects with Ador because these were signed and agreed upon before the termination. They risk legal issues if they abandon them. That is the projects they said they would continue doing under Ador and Hybe. 3. The tour, independent activities is stuff that will happen independent of Hybe. Either they think they will get money from Hybe to do the tour or they already have a new backer and this termination is something happening to ensure they can go to their new sponsors.

@AutumnPerez-xi2ubКүн бұрын
Bunnies,it's time to open your eyes and face reality. I’ve consistently argued that the contract remains valid because NJ violated the legal timeframe for Ador to respond. Procedural breaches, not just material breaches, have legal implications. Ador has neither materially nor procedurally breached the law, whereas the girls have violated both. 1. Workplace Abuse Claims: The claim that the employer abused NJ in a shared mutual space (4th floor) is equivalent to alleging workplace bullying because someone unrelated to the company made a comment in a restaurant. By law, such claims hold no merit unless directly linked to the employer's actions. 2. Dolphinee's IP: The IP in question belongs to Ador. As the legal owner, Ador has the right to decide how it’s used, including pulling content at a sponsor’s request. Ador has no obligation to provide detailed legal reasons for such actions. 3. Training Photos: These weren’t released by Ador but by external media. The blame should be directed there, not at Ador. 4. Corporate Governance: Decisions about Ador’s CEO or management fall under the board of directors' purview, not the idols or employees. It’s a company’s right to operate its business without interference. 5. Legal Standing:NJ’s trip to Japan, arranged by Ador, is a tacit acknowledgment of the contracts' validity. Fulfilling contractual duties contradicts their public claims of termination. The procedural timeframe for cancellation was violated, which legally nullifies NJ’s claims of termination. Ador has continuously fulfilled its duty to protect NJ by providing managers, transportation, and legal responses to threats. Beyond this, it’s not Ador’s job to act as guardians or replace parental care. 6. Press Conference: The press conference appears more like a strategic media stunt than a legally grounded move. If it were legally advised, proper legal arguments would have been presented. This seems orchestrated by MHJ, not legal experts. 7. National Implications: The demand to reinstall MHJ as CEO reeks of tampering. If any judge sides with NJ, it risks setting a dangerous precedent that could destabilize not only the K-pop industry but also the broader Korean economy. This case has drawn in entities like the National Assembly, Ministry of Labor, and others, escalating it to a national issue. Final Thoughts: Ador is handling this strategically, and NJ’s participation in recent activities confirms their contracts are still valid. If I were Ador, I’d ensure NJ fulfills all contractual duties moving forward. Any refusals should be documented as breaches, ultimately leading to grounds for legal termination. This isn’t just about contracts-it’s about safeguarding the business model and preventing manipulative precedents. As for MHJ and NJ, they’re playing a losing hand in a much larger game.
@travellerescapes36Күн бұрын
I agree! Thank you for the detailed POVs. It is right that Ador is continually fulfilling contractual obligations for NJ until end of their contract. I think the main word here to watch out is BREACH of contract. And watch and see who does it.

I fully believe those who think NJ are innocent and did no wrong, are either underage or very dim in the mind. you can still like an artist/group and realize how bad of a path they've taken. but we have minors out here saying "hybe isn't very smart" but from what I'm looking at, they're a pretty big company and have their own legal team. guess who doesn't? i could care less about delusional fans, they don't understand logic either. but 20 year olds should, especially bc they were once MINORS and were in a huge company, you should be cautious in general. even so, WHERE WERE THE ADULTS?? i do care about newjeans but i can't defend actions done on emotional impulse, its SELF SABOTAGE ATP. they will suffer but MHJ wont, stupid all around bc MHJ should be in their place rn. I'm more concerned that they have no actual unbiased adults around to tell them how the look to the fans and the public as well as HOW BAD things can get, that companies will DRAG IT OUT for years. i know that BSH has not been the brightest person either, unfortunately he funds these groups and if i were any of them, i would not be taking this route to get what i want. there is MORE DAMAGE done to them, than the company itself, stocks are perhaps 1 of the losses hybe can really get. but NJ can lose it all, the "bad and bullying" company they're trying to leave, has funded everything they never had to work for, and still are until the contract itself has been LEGALLY dismissed. its just sad to see they've decided to take the worst path to do this. they are the only ones willing to look entitled, bratty, and scummy to the public in order to keep a horrible person around. none of this even changes KPOP, they're the only ones who WOULD do this in such a manner. every other group or idol who has done this or anything similar, did it correctly and never went through something this controversial. they are the example as to why you should talk to a legal team or someone who can actually get this done the right way.

It is as what I have been claiming all the time. First, contract is still valid because NJ violated legal timeframe for Ador to respond. Not only material breaches of Law count, but also procedural (process) breaches count and have legal effects. While Ador materially and procedurally (processually) breached nothing, these girls breached the Law and Ador's lawfully protected rights even processually (proceduraly). Second, claiming that your employer abused you on that 4th level mutual space shared by different companies, is same as I would claim that my emploer bullied me because I went to restaurant in building I work in, and some random visitor from that restaurant, nobody from my company though, said "ignore her", or god forbid, spell coffe on me. Or as I went to McDonald's where someone yelled at me, and then start threathing my contractor to terminate the contract because of non existing (even by law terms) and non proven workplace bullying. Dolphinees case - whatever they claim, it is still Ador's IP and Ador who responds to stakeholders, law and sponsors - can do what the hell it wants with it. As soon As Ador asks contractor to pull out certain video or whatever on sponsors demand, that party has legal duty to do so. Ador is not even obligated to quote legal reasons for such decision. Ador's IP. The training photos haven't even been published by Ador so girls are barking at wrong organisation - they should bark at media that posted those. And last but not least, who is CEO of Ador and how is company being managed is not any idol's business, any employees business, it is board of directors decision (and board is directly respondibg to stakeholders and owners of the company), and it every company's right to freely persuie its business activities. This right of free business initiative is protected by law. We are talking about private owned company, baby. If you dislike how is it organised or who is managing it (not your concern anyway), you are free to form your own company with your own money and organise it as you wish. Stop bossing private owners what they should do with their ownership. It is their's, not yours. You can't sh!!t on someone else's property just because you dislike who the owner is and how is it being managed. Hybe's house, Hybe's rules. Sean, thanks for this vlog, it vas very informative and it is good that we finally heard real legal experts talking. Not those so called legal experts cheerleading for NJ (bunnies uncles) that were also very loud about how not saying helo is workplace abuse, while they clearly knew that legally that's complete nonsens. And yet they were lying and manipulated public opinions with nonsense about workplace bullying. . Some of these still claim that NJ has good case against Ador. It actually doesn't have case at all. POST FESTUM: 1. demand to reinstall MHJ as CEO reecks of tempering. 2. If any judge would say yes to NJ, this would destroy not whole kpop industry that is based on heavy investments in idols, but also whole Korean economy, as I warned many times. MHJ and NJ are alone in this, there is literally no company that would support such legal prencedens (including evil Kakao). 3. The fact that girls went in Japan in Ador's arrangement means that they legally acknowledge VALIDITY of their contracts, that contracts are still ongoing. This is how the law sees it. Mark my words. 4. Ador did not protect NJ? Do you have bodyguards hired by Ador every time you travel somewhere or attend some event, NJ girls? Don't you have Ador's manager driving you around, taking care of your safety and comfort? Did not Ador react every single time when NJ got media threaths or was attacked by netizens with public warning of strong legal response? Ador did all that. And this is how it is Ador's job to protect you. Nothing else. Ador isn't kindergarten, nor replaces your parents. It is business in which NJ are equal contractual partners. For other kind of protection go to your parents. 5. Banghyuk is chairman of Hybe, a mother company, he also doesn't have anything directly with Ador or you. He is in managerial spheres of mother company that aren't business of any idol to deal with. 6. And to end my comment with this: if I was Ador, I would proceed exactly as Shawn said. Girls showed up on Ador's arranged activity in Japan, meaning that "we cancel contracts" was nothing but public emotional breakdown in organisation of MHJ, and that legally it meant nothing - girls fullfilling their contractual duty today in Japan is legal proof that they weren't serious about terminating their contracts, although they naively still believe they were serious. Not to mention that they violated 14 days deadline, because of which contracts are consequently de facto and de iure valid, because this is what the law says). If I was Ador, I would pack them with duties, just as Sean cleverly suggested - and every time they would refuse to do the job, I would write it down till enough of breachments would accumulate, and then ADOR can give them legal notice of cancelling contracts with them. Christmas is coming, there is plenty of activities Ador can demand from them to fullfill. And as I said: that press conference wasn't under legal advice, if it was, legal answer/argumentation would be presented on that very press conference. It was on MHJ's advice and arrangement. If I was Ador (ha ha - but I'm not) I would collect the proof e.g. ask prosecutor to give green light for investigation under suspicion of tampering. Why the prosecutor and not just lawsuit on the court, you will ask? Am I insane? Well, not really. It is because Nation Assembly made this case a national problem, and a lot of money is at stake. Free business initiative visciously attacked for months, resulting in significant fall of company's stock value . Because many state entities were already dragged into this. Not just National assembly, also Ministry of labour, Ministry of defence, etc. Min wanted it national. Then let's have state prosecutor in this and make it REALLY national. Investigating into how even the National Assembly became active party in processes of tampering of an idol group. And I'm not even joking. But Ador knows it all much better than I do. So bring up popcorn, show has just begun. PPS: Last time I posted somewhere else that I believe that whole press conference was just a show because Min needs media titles and to fk up V's new single release. Maybe I wasn't wrong....

I’m usually pro artist because they are often taken advantage of by large companies but in this case New Jeans needs to suffer consequences. One has to be smart when dealing with situations like this and they have proven they are either ill informed by legal counsel or they are just making decisions based purely on emotion which is always a poor choice. I anticipate that after this is over, unless one or two of the New Jeans members gain clarity as Keena of Fifty Fifty did, their careers are over. No one is willing to invest in a group that has demonstrated they will just arbitrarily walk away if their “feelings” are hurt or they just don’t like something on a whim. Who wants that risk? I hope the brands are paying attention to this. Looks like it’s time to pull those ambassadorships and seek out more stable and reliable kpop groups.🤦🏾♀️

Honestly, the Sth Korean legal system and Government, should look at acting in the full letter of the law, to do otherwise would set a precedent that would have long reaching implications not only on the Kpop industry but contract law, overall. The country could be thrown into economic crisis if everyone who is unhappy with a contract simply did whatever Jeans are doing. I suspect that most major Corporations & Businesses will be looking at what these Mean Girls are doing with trepidation. I'm quite sure behind closed doors there is a lot of lobbying going on to Politicians to ensure that New Jeans contract is upheld, and a significant penalty for breach of contract be imposed, as they would want to discourage other disgruntled employees from copycat actions.

everything that Ador is accused of, they do themselves and hope to get away with it. The fact that they have not filed a lawsuit against Ador for breach of contract says it all. You know what's wild? I never heard a kpop song before becoming a BTS fan, and even after 4 years I'm still reluctant to call myself ARMY bc I'm THAT DEEP into not wanting to throw 100% loyalty behind people I don't know and who don't know me. But BTS is the closest I've ever come to stanning something. There were some kpop songs I enjoyed, but rarely enough for me to follow a group (Mamamoo was probably the only group I kept up with). UNTIL NewJeans. I loved their toned-down music and visuals, and as a y2k teen it all appealed to me. And even better I actually really liked 99% of their songs. I was playing their whole discography every morning to start my day. I wasn't a fan of more of their recent music though (how sweet was ok). I was getting bored when I heard that they still weren't letting go of that Jersey Beat type music. I liked it when I thought it was just a part of a specific concept or project, but then it followed to the next project and I realized, oh, I guess that's just their sound now..hmm, ok. THEN MHJ played that unreleased song at the Samsung event, and I'm not the best ear for music but IT SOUNDED JUST LIKE THEIR SONGS FROM TWO YEARS AGO. Anyhow, I was fatigued at the fast beat, soft vocals sound and stopped following their music. I'd listen to maybe 20 seconds of new releases, and as soon as I heard that beat I'd click out lol. So I forgot about NewJeans until this whole debacle. I never followed debuts for GG or BG bc 100% of the debut songs I listened to never stood out to me so I gave up. I knew I liked NewJeans' sound (even if I got tired of the lack of variety), so when I heard that there were supposed "copy cats" called Illit, I gave them a listen and WOW. I was blown away lol. I think they have like 8 songs and not a single one was a miss, AND THEY WERE ALL DIFFERENT, and the music videos were bright and colorful and fun. So now I play Illit's whole discography every morning. Thanks NewJeans! Oh, and it sounds nothing like NJ to me. It's fun, playful, cute, great hooks (that don't just rely on vibes). And the girls themselves seem more approachable than NJ. It was clear from the beginning and even from the MVs that NJ was always meant to only appear down to Earth, but really their brand has always been to be separate, elite, aspirational, too cool. How they debuted, how they promoted, how they interacted (or didn't interact), and now we're learning, how they functioned within HYBE, they really leaned into that "not like the other girls" untouchables vibe and I think it's coming to bite them.

Same, I'm an ARMY, but of course I listen to other Kpop groups so there's no way I wouldn't know New Jeans. However, upon hearing Illit Magnetic, it strangely felt so similar to BTS music. After looking at the credits, it makes sense.

Hybe boy released a video on Dispatch having receipts regarding Min heejin the evil herself. I hadn't expected to call on her downfall this way. But now hybe got ammo. Edit : Now BangPd is also free of his allegations. Watch everything go down south REAL fast. The Jazabel headmaster really sees her precious girls as sacrificial pawns.

idon't think these girls realize yet what they have done. they probably still ahve upcoming schedules planned before all this went down. they'd really feel the impact of their actions when they have no more new endorsments, no new schedules, etc.. they have been avoiding meetings with ador so no chance to get new endorsments, deals or event whatever for them to attend in the future. honestly if they won't file contract cancelation ador can just put them in the basement since they're not even accepting their meetings. at some point someone from ador/hybe need to start leaking stuff about these girls, how they talk to staff how they reply to them. if they are this rude and ungrateful already in public i bet they've done some nasty things. hybe/ador needs to stop trying to save these girls reputation. they are in too deep with mhj

they probably ran away to avoid paying up. maybe their parents don't want to help pay their daughters debt or maybe their parents were like, "you are on your own kid". NJ made a mess and they must be responsible. Notice MHJ "left' them too. they are done for after this. the few supporters they have are only sticking around because they were Hybe antis to begin with and love the drama. even thought NJ are from a different company.

I honestly think if New Jeans succeeds you can forget Kpop coming to America. Americans already don't like the bullying that is rampant in the Hallyu wave. We are tired of the Children of Machiavelli being in charge. I mean, it happens here but why import more?
@jcasa3646Күн бұрын
Yep. If NJ tried to pull these stunts in America, they'd get mercilessly dragged before being cancelled stat, while potentially ruining opportunities for other up-and-coming kpop artists. BTS alone had to overcome a LOT to be accepted and respected in the industry through hard work and talent, and because of BTS (and frankly, BSH), the doors of opportunity were pryed opened for other aspiring SK artists. NJ, with their rep as spoiled rotten entitled brats, would propagate the opposite.

These girls are ludicrous and a disgrace to any industry, but especially K-pop. They are rookies, and would they have been this popular without Hybe? I think not - they are a dime a dozen. Debut in 2022 then spend an entire year on this BS? And SERIOUSLY - we are terminating our contract, but we will fly out tomorrow for our schedule and of course advertisements- anything to continue to make money and be in the spotlight. I really hope that Hybe throws their weight, and buries them for the remainder of their contract. Isn't it breach to hold bi-weekly whine fests publicly? I think all activities should be stopped for all of our sanity and maybe they can get therapy and self reflect.

One last thought By engaging in activities arranged as part of their contract with ador they are actually saying the contract still exists so ador can take it as nj accepted the terms of the contract as "modified by ador unilaterally" The parties will know the contract ended when nj doesn't fulfill their obligations or ador doesnt pay nj Because if ni said the contracted is terminated ador has no obligations to nj and technically nj has no recourse arguably they are volunteering right now
@Ltor00Күн бұрын
The real problem is we don’t know what it says in the NJs contract. Ador can’t publish it without being in breach. If one of the investors that has dropped out or been dropped by MHJ has a copy, I wish they would leak it.
@yclocbradshaw4064Күн бұрын
Also, if they try to create or contract with anyone else or any other management company or sponsorship after they “terminated” their contract ADOR could sue that company/sponsorship/management, etc for IP infringement because ADOR owns their IP, including discography and NJ do not have a legal right to any of that IP. I think ADOR/HYBE may be waiting until they try to contract with other parties and then take legal action. I also think your suggestion to pack their schedules and note every time they do not show up or breach their contract obligations.

crazy how many people here that are not even NewJeans fans care so much about them that they are writing whole passages to go against them, not to mention watch 30 minute videos on this drama, you all look more desperate than NJ themselves with all that pressure on them, I'm on no ones side here but most of this comment section judging & opinionating on NJ seem to be blind to how hypocritical they look, acting all that mature & educated but having a little too much time on hand to be minding your own business, I have seen silly stuff on the "Bunnies" side of the coin, but this here tops everything, yall seem way more annoyed about NJ and their Bunnies than they are of you. MHJ being offended by Illit's team copying NJ was immature in my opinion (not that my opinion matters), nothing under the sun is new, we all build on inspiration, but all this effort to proof NJ are "the bad ones" here, while all they are doing is defending their own lives, just makes you all look silly. Even if NewJeans claims are not valid, next time someone keeps you in a place/job where you don't want to be anymore and pulls the strings on you, kept against your will, treated in ways you don't appreciate.. just remember that you wished a group of teens exactly that and even put in effort to justify that this is right, the day this world will humble you, remember that you all deserve to be imprisoned by your job or contract for a long time and you have no right to "act victim" when you want to move on with your life. When you want them to swallow the hard pill don't throw a pity party when it's your turn.

@@bqanto sure yea telling an 18 yo "you are free to go just pay $400.000 and you're fine no big deal" is about as sane as all these comments here, but my point is that you all care too much about things you have nothing to do with except you are planning on becoming an idol, or have investments in Hybe, next to the fact that you all are not any better than any of the "actual bullies" on either side, everyone here sounds very offended and biased somehow, like burnt childs that live out their frustration on the internet, u get it? Find ur way to talk to these silly adults if u somehow want to have an impact, or bring them the evidence that makes you all so confident in what you believe to be true here, or at least anything you think you know better than any of the people that actually were there/being the actual victims..I think they'll gladly let you in the building if you got anything else case supporting other than good sounding opinions, but give these kids a pause ^^ on all sides involved.. they're just industry babies, if that word tells you 'industry insiders' something... none of them are to blame, if anyone let the adults pay for their unprofessional work, but pouring all this passive aggressive and hateful gas into the fire doesn't make you any better than any of them ^^ this comment section looks worse than MHJ, NewJeans, ILLIT, their manager and anyone involved combined, I don't see any real bully on either side other than under this video, the real bullies are here, ppl thinking their passive aggressive opinion on smth they think they have any real clue of is nowhere near respectable or any better than the people they are blaming, sinners judging sinners, but hey I guess ppl watching this channel for exactly this kind of drama, so i get it, not the place to be as a whole person that doesn't see two sides here, i just see innocent kids with poor management from the responsible roles, these kids are not responsible to take care that the industry is upright, nor should be forced to pay for the lack of professionality of the adults, when all they want is a work environment that is not a daily mental burden, of course these kids don't know how to handle this, what do you expect, they just lay their best cards against a powerful entity that undermined them completely and treated them with no respect until they started losing half a billion dollars in the stock market. Now we talkin I guess.. They at least will pay attention now

It's quite sad to see these young girls throw away their careers like this cause if anything they could have just used HYBE as their stepping stone and than branched out when their contract ended with an established career and brand image, but now they are showing everyone else that they are a problem to work with which could come back and bite them in the azz when it comes to endorsements and brand deals
