Mesa Tactical makes a QD plate that replaces the black steel spacer between the back of the receiver & the front portion of the stock assembly.

Do yourself a favor and get an aluminum barrel clamp. The screws on the stock poly clamp are notorious for stripping. Took my LTT tactical to Thunder Ranch and it was the most fun I've had in a long time.

Thank you. The qd I used in this video was an extra I had from my benelli m4. On the mod 2, I believe they changed the barrel clamp qd to make it fit more standard qds like the bcm and Magpul. I checked to make sure and a bcm qd does fit in these mod 2 barrel clamps. I saw a video on a guy with a mod 1 I believe and he said standard qds don’t fit in those barrel clamps but I couldn’t confirm that myself. He said to drill out the whole a bit more. If you have a mod 2, bcm and Magpul will work. Couldn’t confirm will Magpul but I believe it’s the same dimensions as bcm.

Yes it does. It has 4 different positions I believe. I adjusted it upwards to put my line of sight with my red dot when I have a full cheek weld. It works well so far. With the standard stock, that does allow you to add the kickoff system which reduces recoil and that’s pretty cool as well.

I have the 1301 mod 2 with pistol grip and mesa tactical stock or butt. Looks like yours. I removed the 4 screws, 2 on each side, and that portion seems stuck in. Afraid of breaking it.

@@mdjak3686 it’s difficult to get off but you have to slightly and carefully outwards on both sides of the cheek riser to get it to slide out easier. There’s also 4 nuts on the back side of the cheek riser where the screws thread into so be careful when taking it off that those don’t go flying out.
