Nice shooting buddy. I was thinking about it. The plug also pushes on the ball. You probably could change the balls to a 9.5 mm for thicker bands, if needed.. I think the stock ones are 11 mm.

Someone suggested using clay ammo for plug balls, they claim it holds in place and is much lighter weight. I haven’t tried it but eventually will.

I got one of your figure 8 style slingshots a while back, but the purple "series zero" bands it came with seems to be a bit too light for 3/8" steel shot, what would be a better band to go with that type of ammo? keep in mind thats my first ever slingshot that wasn't the heavy barnett cobra bands, other than that i really like the slingshot itself and can't beat the portability of it.

For 3/8 steel I like the Falcon yellow .65 or SimpleShot .6 they both have great performance characteristics and lifespan.
