Get a few straw bales and spread it out in the mud. This will bind the moisture and also releases starch which makes everything become nice and solid. If it is a returning issue, dig some ditches about 2-3 ft. lay down either corrugated and perforated pvc draining pipe. Here comes the trick: fill the ditch with lots of small brances, shrubbery. then add rocks and gravel,then soil. The sticks will slowly rot awaay, but leads water along them while rotting. When totally rotted, they create "gates" of looser soil as the soil around will pack. It is pretty uncomplicated really. A lot of people don't use branches, so the pipe will stop fuctioning after a while. You can also use ceramic or cement pipes laid down end to end, using moss in the gaps, siphoning water into the pipe while keeping dbris out. The moss will keep on growing together and works for decades

I have used both types. Slingshots can be used for long-range hunting, but are mainly suitable for birds. The blowgun has less ability to hit targets at long distances, but the wound it creates is enough to hunt larger animals.

Hey man another question when I change bands my aim gets kinda funky and I have a hard time placing bands in the same exact spot what do you suggest I do because if I am in the middle of the hunt I can’t tweet my aim an I usually go for head or neck shots to kill the birds cleanly I have had hits where it was center mass the bird flew off and probably died but I couldn’t find it
@FowlersMakeryandMischief3 жыл бұрын
Ya thats just the nature of the beast. Give the bands a good stretching workout before shooting as if you fired 50 shots then wast some amo re zeroing by shooting random stuff untill your ready to get back in the game !

I mean my stance comes from a longevity stand point, a blow gun doesnt really have any parts to break or degrade with time/weather (to a point), now a sling shot is obviously smaller and ammo is easier to carry more of, now a sling shot band can break over use and if you leave it outside it can damage it, now ill be the first to say I dont have much experience with either so I cant say which is better for what application but I do have a decent understanding of materials so if I just wanted to take something back packing id probably take a sling shot as its smaller but if I wanted something to rely on for many many years then a blowgun makes more sense imo
