A quick side note that I didn't mention in the video: The speed of the escalator depends on the size and amount of coils that your slinky has, so a larger slinky may be easier since it will flip slower. However, you will have to be more precise with your catches!

I bought a spring like this, but it's thin, and longer than normal, do you think it would be possible to do the maneuvers normally? In fact, I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like this slinky of mine is heavier than normal.

It really depends! You will most likely be able to do some of the beginner tricks, but they will just be much harder to learn. The nice part is, if you are able to learn the tricks with the larger spring, it will be very easy once to do if you get a smaller one!
