thank you so much for making this video... absolutely brilliant, it has really helped me decide. especially loved that you showed how to wash and dry the pillowcase. ❤
@blackbutterfly233ify4 жыл бұрын
You can put it in the wash. Just delicate cycle on cold water and hang to dry. Straight from the slip website. They also offer detergent for the case
@SueMaeEveryday4 жыл бұрын
I think I'm just too scared to throw it in the wash. I would like to think it would be ok, but I'm not brave enough to take that chance. And I did see the detergent for the case, but I can't seem to remember the reason why I didn't purchase from them--price or availability, not sure. Thanks for the info! ❤️

Haha, you totally convinced me. I recently saw two videos about silk pillow but I wasn’t sure if I need it. After watching your , I think I will give it try. I have a problem with my hair, I lost a lot of hair recent years plus every morning I got up, my hair is like had exploded. Awesome video and thank you for sharing ❤️

If I could find someone to hand wash for me for free, I would give it 10 thumbs up! I really do love it and I honestly believe it’s preventing more hair loss for me. It’s not magic so it’s not making my hair fuller, but I definitely love how I barely have to brush hair anymore and to deal with knots! Let me know if you decide to try it and your thoughts! ❤️

I am using silk pillowcase for 3-4 months now and recently for some reason I had to put both of my silk cases in laundry. For couple of days I used normal cotton pillowcase and I am telling you it was unbearable.. I had to do a special round of laundry and had to get my silk pillowcase washed and dried ASAP so I can use them ... once you use them for a while you will never ever go back to your normal pillowcases

I find silk air dries really quickly, and leaving it trapped with moisture inside the towel could damage the fibers and maybe even promote mold. I would recommend just resting the pillowcase on a line, drying rack, or even on a towel if it’s really wet. It’s better for the silk and simplifies your process, so it can also make washing go from feeling like a chore. Washing silk with the laundress feels like the same amount of effort as brushing my teeth twice; a few minutes of gentle washing, soak on a timer while I do other things, and a few minutes to rinse. If you have a wash basin, you can free up your sink and do your skincare routine while it soaks

I prefer the envelope opening, which 2 of my Slips have. The Rose Gold Slip was only available on Sephora and that one has a zipper. Most good pillowcases are 22 momme but I also have 24 and 30 momme from other brands. The packaging makes this a great gift.

I have used cheaper case from online 100% mulberry silk . I agree with hair thing it feels like no need to brush my hair in morning but not so sure about skin . Need to give few years to see the effect . Anyway I recommend the cheaper ones work as fine. I bought 2 cases for 45 dollars shipping included from Groupon

Al Ra yes, I definitely like how I don’t have to brush my hair-because I don’t have enough hair to spare anymore! 😆 But I’m a sucker for advertisement, and Slip silk got me! But I may supplement with the generic kinds because it’s just so expensive! Thank you for watching ❤️

Can you confirm what it says on the tag. Does it say 100%silk? Silk pillows from Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and bed bath beyond say 100 percent on website; but the tag actually says microfiber or 90% or nylon...

How do you remove any stains from the pillowcase?
@aymw92594 жыл бұрын
Silk Pillow case is so expensive. I think everybody should try buying a big piece of Mulberry silk, cut it up (GOOGLE search "Mulberry silk fabric" it is so so cheap), than use the waterproof fabric glue to put it together. You can even customize whatever size you want to fit your current pillow. I don't think it is hard to glue two side of silk together. Don't you guys think so??? If you guys are too lazy to glue it together. Just wrap your pillow with big piece of Mulberry silk. Believe me, 6 feet of 100% Mulberry Silk still much much cheaper than your one Silk Pillow case. Problem is solved..........
