not really... but in off road i bet they will do at least the same.... the difference here is the engine.... one is a diesel unit with 320Nm and the other one(Duster) is a petrol unit(n/a) with only 2 156Nm....if the Duster had the 1.5dci engine with 200Nm(considering the kerb weight) it would of performed better....😁

Why you surprised? In real off road the Duster shows exactly this, when gets stuck you will see 2 wheels from the same lateral or three wheels spinning like crazy while the others/other are not. This Qashqai on the other hand has the technology to minimize that effect. Still, Duster is a superb off roader with good wheels and in good hands.

@@aLtta1 It's a traction test not a power test so the engine doesn't matter at all here. The engine gives enough power, or the power-train (which has different ratios for petrol and diesel) gives enough of a wheel torque to push the car forward and even uphill.

This test, even though is quite well made, it compares apples to pears (not oranges :) ). To be fair, it should've made a comparison between either that Duster (I PH 2) and the previous generation Qashqai, or the Duster II and the Qashqai featured in this video. That way it would've compared similar systems. This way it just compared two different generations of the awd system, and not the differences between the two cars from the Renault-Nissan corporation. Gastón Dodera I'm not sure about it. First Duster (before FL) indeed uses first generation of X-Trail awd (All Mode 4x4), but after FL (2013) they added ESP/TC, so in theory it should be second generation of X-Trail awd (All Mode 4x4-i), but it's not... There must be something in between.

Test can't be conclusive cause the drivers are different and especially in the 3 rail test they used completely different method to get of them...in dacia the driver was spining the stiring wheel left and right all the time and in quasqai the driver kept the stiring wheel turned right so that the tires get a grip on the right side and front right corner of the rails...every time

herculis13 Every driver want to drive off the rollers. All tests except the last one do not require any movement of steering wheel. During last test Dacia driver is turning the steering wheel to keep the car on rollers cause car is moving to right and left and it would fall down without corrections. @@4x4.tests.on.rollers It's difficult to tell, but I think the Qashkai wheels may be larger. The question is, if that is the case, would that give the car an advantage in this particular test? Would the tyre, if the wheel were larger, catch and grip the frame of the roller more easily when the car rocked forward under test? Think of an extreme example, where the wheels on one car were 1.5x or 2x or 3x the size of the wheels on the other car. All else being equal, would the larger wheels be an advantage in this test? I don't know the answer, it's just a thought! By the way, did you use the same driver, or a driver of similar skill level, in each car?

Ben dusteri tercih ederdim hem piyasası da çok hızlı satıyorum demeden satarsın. Ama dusteri de alırken dikkat et çoğu şirket şantiye falan duster kullandığı için bağzı araçlar hor kullanılmış olabilir. Sana tavsiyem galeriden değil de sahibinden almaya çalış ve alırken de expertizin en iyisini yaptır. Unfair comparison!!!Duster is with the 1.6 petrol engine and the qq is with the dci...U should test the cars with same engine,same driver,same tyres....ps the duster driver looks like my grandma driving!

What difference does the engine make? This is not tug of war. Why would I use the same driver? Driver is doing nothing except waiting for reaction of the car. Besides - owners of the cars know their cars better than any "the same driver". Tyres - they do not influence the test at all.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers The diesel engine has much more torgue than petrol.Different weight,different torgue different hp...The driver makes big difference maybe the biggest...As u can see the qq driver is using different way to achieve the result..the difference between the two drivers is clear...Also the tyre can effect the result...try to use a race tyre and a 50-50 tyre and u will see the difference!

@@giannis83ifyify It doesn't matter how much torque the diesel have if it is using just a few Nm in the test. You may have 1000 Nm and engine will not generate it cause as it's a grip/resistance function. Duster II with the same 1.6 engine passes all tests so that's not the engine thing at all. Driver can do nothing cause during slippage the computer takes control. Tyre - as long as the wheel on the pavement is not sliiping - it does not influence the test at all. Pure physics.

@@arturaba6476 Nie ma to żadnego wpływu na wynik testu. Gdyby koło z przyczepnością zaczęło ślizgać się po kostce czy asfalcie - wtedy tak, ciśnienie mogłoby ten wynik zmienić.

Tristan Young, it´s the first time i see a test like this, it´s awesome, it shows how well the vehicle can deliver power to each wheel in different cases of traction loss. It´s curious to see that Qashqai did it a little better when shares similar mechanic with the Duster, which by the way performed acceptable well.

@@@Wen6543 i don't like this cars but what i sow on internet on realistic field Duster its doing a grate job everywhere. Also about this test i have concernings that doesn't was a "true" one. First of all locations are different , also how knows what it was the angle of camera which capture both videos. In my opinion its fake, both cars deserve tested on the same location with the same rolers, and the same angle on camera

Suge Oooo I already answered that, but I will do that again here - we travel to meet with drivers, they are not coming to us, we are visiting them. Different cars, different cities, tens of cars tested, just check other videos on channel. And also everyone may come to us for the test. Rollers are always the same, we got only one set. Camera angle? How does it influence the test? Dude, this is so ridiculous...
