This is an absolute Torture Test I performed on the Carbon Killer. Just by seeing the length of the video, you can see how much time I needed to clean the filthiest compensator I've ever seen and the most difficult to clean! I had to soak the compensator in Carbon Killer, put Carbon Killer in the Ultrasonic Cleaner, use Ultra Thinn Lubrication in the Ultrasonic Cleaner, just to get this compensator back to original condition! Tune in to see how Slip2000 products did a great job! Also worth noting, is seeing how good Tandemkross' proprietary coating on the compensator helps or hinders to clean.

Dang. That woulda been a great idea to check. I didn't try it though, it worked for steel challenge still, hitting 10 and 12 inch plates still at 20 yds.

So what’s the consensus on Slip 2000 ultra sonic cleaners VS simple green air craft stuff?

I'd really need to make a comparison video then. I have seen in certain situations that the aircraft stuff can slightly dull or discolor certain finishes like markerized things like flash hiders on ARs but other than that, both are good but slip2000 is very good for things that are extremely dirty. But I'd say the ultrasonic cleaner helps maximize both products. If you don't use an ultrasonic cleaner, I'd get slip2000. If you do, then both cleaners will work great in my opinion.

@@58Alpha I don’t have an ultrasonic cleaner at the moment but looking to switch my cleaning/lubing products which is how I found your videos. Can you essentially put anything inside of the ultrasonic machine? Meaning, it doesn’t technically NEED to say ultrasonic cleaner on it?

@@JayyBird93 Usually yes. You just need to ensure you're not running the ultrasonic cleaners dry, without sufficient fluid. But you definitely want to make sure you're using the right solution as far as jewelry cleaner for jewelry, gun cleaners for guns, etc. Even plain old soap and water has been known by people to use in ultrasonic cleaners. I clean my cleaning brushes and bore brushes etc in the ultrasonic cleaners and they come out real shiny!

Is there a way to clean a flash hider/compensator without removing it?

Yes, you can just scrape and clean with it on if you want...or dump the muzzle only into the ultrasonic cleaner or soaking bath. But I prefer to handle it off the gun. I also ultrasonic lube it to help soak lube into the metal for easier cleaning the next time. Ultrasonic lube is also nice because it'll definitely displace any left over water in any nooks and crannies and prevent rusting.

The ultrasonic tank probably should not be run if fluid is not to the top ring. My understanding is that can burn up the generators.

@@58Alpha Interesting looking around some do have a much lower level. I've only owned Crest. Just double checked they say " The level must be at least 7/8 of volume (approx. up to the seam)." Either way thanks for the content, pulled the trigger on some slip.
