My uncle got me into Slipknot when I was a kid and I remember he’d always jam out the Volume 3 album all the time when I went to his quite regularly. I have his Slipknot CDsand his other metal albums in a glass cabinet with his name on the cabinet to keep them as a memory for my uncle. I love and miss you always Uncle ❤️

I'm Glad they got the recognition for a grammy on this song but they should have more than 1 by now. I think it's ridiculous that they were best out one year by tenacious d. I like jack and kyle but there's no way they had the best metal song that year, they did a cover of a song.

This is objectively their “best” song. Not the heaviest, fastest, angriest, whatever else. It follows a pretty standard pop-rock song structure while still making a person want to commit property crimes. It’s THE song to introduce someone to Slipknot.

look ill admit this is in my top 5 easy but ur fucking nutz if u think this takes over Duality when it comes to THE slipknot song.
@SethHMG4 жыл бұрын
D Logic I think ya could make a valid argument for either. I think BIF edges out Duality only because some people might not care for the rap delivery of the verses in Duality; I also think the verses, sonically, aren’t as powerful as the verses in BIF: the SHOUT-speak of BIF grabs and holds the attention better. However, I think the breakdown in Duality (“All I’ve got it INSANE”), though simpler, comes across stronger than the breakdown in BIG (“My end justifies my means...”)

yer i hate hearing this shit from people not into heavy music, if you actually listen to enough you'll adjust and understand the style of singing. Most of the time these people are just too lazy to try a different taste in music. LYRICS Stapled shut, inside an outside world And I'm sealed in tight, bizarre but right at home I'm claustrophobic - closing in And I'm catastrophic, not again I'm smeared across the page, and doused in gasoline I wear you like a stain, yet I'm the one who's obscene Catch me up on all your sordid little insurrections, I've got no time to lose, and I'm just caught up in all the cattle Fray the strings Throw the shapes Hold your breath Listen! I am a world before I am a man I was a creature before I could stand I will remember before I forget BEFORE I FORGET THAT! I am a world before I am a man I was a creature before I could stand I will remember before I forget BEFORE I FORGET THAT! I'm ripped across the ditch, and settled in the dirt I wear you like a stitch, yet I'm the one who's hurt Pay attention to your twisted little indiscretions I've got no right to win, I'm just caught up in all the battles Locked in clutch Pushed in place Hold your breath Listen! I am a world before I am a man I was a creature before I could stand I will remember before I forget BEFORE I FORGET THAT! I am a world before I am a man I was a creature before I could stand I will remember before I forget BEFORE I FORGET THAT! My end It justifies my means All I ever do is delay My every attempt to evade The end of the road and my end It justifies my means All I ever do is delay My every attempt to evade THE END OF THE ROAD! Sim, sim, sim, sim Sim, sim, sim, OH!
