this stuff is made using software like cubase´s spectral waves and such, where one can take out frequencies of an audio track, but to take all freequencies from corey's voice is impossible without damaging the other sounds, as much as 1 works on it some frequencies still have to stay put. its normal to hear corey because some parts/frequencies of his voice are still there and our brains just make an amazing job filling up whats missing XD hope this can enlighten you.
