Matt Stephens woah woah there. Saying you hate the younger generation with a passion is extremely disrespectful. The younger generation has to find a way to enjoy themselves too, you know? And anyway, you don’t know what situation a person is in. A lot of people try to cover up the darkness in their lives with humor. To be honest, some people don’t even know how to react to an interview. Part of the reason it was brought up in the comments is because it was brought up in the interview, when Corey points to his neck in reply to a question. Please be more considerate about what you say.

@xenomorphbiologist-xx121411 ай бұрын
This is also somewhat true for myself. I had depression to varying degrees between 12-17 or so, and while listening to all this heavy metal music and whatnot didn’t cure that (It was fixing my own life that solved the problem eventually) it made a lot of my depression much easier to handle for years. Sounds kinda weird given how non-positive much of the lyrical content is, but Slipknot, Linkin Park, 3DG, Disturbed, etc all helped ease a lot of the chaos in those days

Gotta love Corey Taylor. This guy is my idol, and the day he passes away will be the darkest of my life. Listening to Slipknot has really helped me change the way I was, and some of their more heartfelt songs really helped me out when I needed it. Corey has had a hard past, and he didn't let that stop him from having a badass fucking band who creates badass music. Imo, they do not have one bad song. Granted, I prefer some songs over others, but all are masterpieces nonetheless.
