It's likely because when vocals are removed from a track, some of the frequencies that are shared in the mix between drums and vocals are removed, so some of those drum frequencies are gone. Pretty much the only way to not have that happen would be if someone had the actual original stem files to the song and just removed or muted the vocal track. Unfortunately, no one besides Slipknot and those involved with them like their producer, mixing/mastering engineers, etc., has the luxury of accessing those. 😂
