A Boss Metal-Zone simulated on a ZOOM G5 pedalboard with the distortion knob in the middle and the volume knob at the maximum. Subsequently amplified by an MKC-200 Meteoro (similar to the JCM-800 but much cheaper) in the dirty channel with 70% gain. A common microphone positioned in the center of the speaker. Captured at the microphone input of an ordinary computer. I recommend the Shure SM57 microphone for good quality capture and an audio card for the 96kHz to 24bits computer.
