Rene grew up in a dysfunctional home. His parents separated just two years after his birth. A short time later, his mother met an American. A move to Alabama in America followed. The newly in love couple soon had a daughter together. René felt more and more unwelcome in his own family. Due to his stepfather's transfer, the family moved back to Germany about four years later. René was six years old at the time. His parents started arguing and even hitting each other more and more violently. René felt increasingly uncomfortable. With sentences like: "René, can't you go play outside?" The then little boy was sent out of the house. Early in his teenage years René started to smoke and drink. He lost himself in womanizing and heavy rap. At some point, all of this no longer satisfies his longing for love and so he slips more and more into addiction to drugs. Meanwhile René wrote and rapped his own hard and dark songs. This all came to a head when, at the age of seventeen, he moved to America with his family again, this time to Texas. ......

Oh man was für ein bewegende Tatsache. Es zeigt das wenn man unten ist und denkt es geht nichts mehr und man will nicht mehr, da geschieht mit unserem Vater ein Wunder. Dadurch sieht man das Gott unser Vater uns nicht alleine lässt und treu zu uns steht. 😎

Hmm, die Geschichte wirkt auf mich stark "konstruiert" mit viel christlichen Klischees und Jargon. Ich will jetzt zwar nicht perse sagen, dass sie ausgedacht ist, aber mir fehlen hier konkretere Bezüge die ich von einem echten Zeugnis erwarten würde.
