SLITTING STEEL MACHINE KNIFE SET-UP

Slitter knife set-up SLITTING machine..is hard work job but some worker like me...need to do this kind of job.im just thankful to the God almighty for what I earn and what I have.to God be the GLORY.

Looks like an old Stamco slitter head. This has got to be one of the worst set-up stations I have seen in my 40 year career in coil processing. The reason the white tape is on the strippers is because the stripper diameter is not being maintained causing the male knives to blade mark the material being slit. What a mess.

@@dipankc6937 hi sir maybe your set-up of knives is not in Right just checked the clearance of it.of using 5mm knives and the clearance it use is .05 it also depends of the thickness of the material process... Thanks I hope it helps

Good work on that arbor setup. I would recommend kevlar gloves that are tighter fitting. Those gloves will protect your hands from some things. But in the event that steel shavings makes its way through them it will be a painful expirience
