The sandwich iron is very similar to what I know of called a pudgie pie iron. Very similar to yours, but either square or circular. When I was a kid we used them out camping, putting white bread and pie filling or peanut butter and jelly in them. I think we still have the irons in the pantry somewhere. I love your usage of toy cats and your real cat friend in the video!

i don't have a problem with the CR type batteries. usual application is in low powered devices or motherboards, my CMOS battery is in there since 5 years and it's still fine, the ones i have in remotes need change once a year or two, they are quite inexpensive as well but i do like the idea that we could recharge them instead of fating them to the bin.
