Thank God for Much Music! I'm in North Carolina. Here in 2024. All of their records are consistent.

Damn just wrote pretty much the same comment! Just amazing live too. Kills me they had to beg Much Music to play their videos I think after they started their own label and they wouldn’t. Thank god 102.1 CfNY wasn’t sold out by then.

The most overlooked band in Canada IMO. The talent here in this group is amazing, so many great songs by every member!

I just spotted the director of this video on the subway in Toronto. Didn’t say anything because it’s cooler to say nothing.

Andrew is this silent player who writes a shit ton of catchy songs.
@rocketsalad2 жыл бұрын
It’s impossible to rank them, of course, but I think secretly Andrew is actually the boss - he does two absolute corkers every album (or one giant song on Commonwealth), just absolute out-of-the-park grand slams, and the rest of the band has to rearrange themselves around him just to play them. Plus he’s got the drum chops to make the bodies drop. If that ain’t the Shadow King of Sloan, I don’t know what to tell ya, buster.

Apparently the record companies didn't think so. They weren't happy that Sloan took a different path from their previously more grungy vibes.
