So great to see / listen to an interview where the interviewer actually lets the interviewee talk. Great job Lana.

Most complete album IMO since Between The Bridges. Incredible how good they sound live. Saw them at the Bowery in NYC last week and they sound exactly the same they did 25 years ago. The world has missed out on appreciating these guys outside Canada and the NE US.

Chris is such a goofball. He's a good spokesman for the band.

Love this new album. These guys are still creating great music after all this time.

It's their best album in 20 years imo. Rocks.

Chris, Sloan are as good as ever with every new album! In recent years, I’ve actually been listening more to your last three albums than my older favourites.

And that is how an interview is done... Well done.

I'm so grateful that Sloan HASN'T slumped into defining themselves as a "heritage band". I've also heard Chris refer to them as a cult band a few times and I don't see it, they still create awesome, new, pop-rock tunes, and I hope they never stop!

Just saw them in Cleveland and they were absolutely incredible. They are playing at a high level and the new album is as good as any they’ve done so far.

I remember feeling utterly underwhelmed with their debut thirty years ago. I thought Sloan were terrible. Now, of course, I can't listen to them enough. A wonderful group who are supremely good live. Thirty more years and another thirteen albums, please. Always nice to see and hear Lana Gay, too.

Really? I love that old sound.

This new record crept up as a favorite of sorts. Maybe not beyond the classic stuff or Never Hear the End of It, but up there. Having Patrick write a ballad helps too, it had been a minute.

Saw them a few days ago. They played all of Steady, some hits and a few deep cuts. 31 song set and they sound as good as ever. Been a fan since I was a kid and I’ll happily support them until they hang them up. 13 albums and no duds IMO. Tip of the hat to a great Canadian band.

Their best albums imo are: Never hear the end of it... Between the bridges... 12... Steady. Also a nod to Navy Blues

A great (crazy) idea Chris had at the end. What if each member wrote 3 songs but gave each to other members of the band to sing the lead?

Back in the olden days, my gf lived just off of Runnymede, so I'd take the subway to that station, then the bus up Runnymede. It's kind of cool to see and hear that name in a song, as it's a pretty nondescript area.

Fully agree. Ever hit up Jumbo Burgers at Runnymede and Dundas? Underrated spot!

Such a great band and still very much on top of their game. Andrew needs to relax though and just rock out and be glad to do it.

Nice work if you can get it, like being a DJ and not having heard that phrase. Anyone else feel old?

I'm listening here in Pennsylvania USA I discovered these guys from a random comment on a Weezer video comparing these two in a favorable way.
