A real-time Blood & Plunder sea battle featuring two 100 point forces using the new sloops from the Blackbeard vs. Maynard Two Player Starter Set for Blood & Plunder.
The Scenario is Encounter with the British Militia Pirate Hunters attacking the Wabanaki Native Americans. The Natives have brought strong melee ability, good ranged Saves and lots of archery and the British have cannons.

Some really fun lists to see! I love the native faction with the size 2 ships. That really got my attention as a fun option.

Bows aren't totally awful, the issue was the sail damage and inability Repair to close on the enemy. Waaaay too many actions lost early. I demand a rematch on Guy's behalf. :)

Are those cloth sails? Where did you get them? I’ve been looking at cloth sails or Rick Casler airbrushed sails but not sure where to purchase them.

Do you HAVE to use the official firelock ships to play naval battles or can I use toy boats from walmart, for example?

For a local friendly game, you can use whatever you like. :) For tournament play, you have to use official ships as their size/shape affects unit capacity, turning and movement.

As I recall they were using the Blood & Plunder ship movement tool.

Using the laser ruler like that is cheating. The length of the ruler itself is giving a couple inches.
