Slope Soaring Goolwa Whale Watching Lookout

I spotted this raised platform and couldn't resist the short boardwalk for a fly. There is a dead spot down low and the landings are pretty much a forced gentle crash. So get out the foamies for this one.
Had a 10 - 12 knot SW and a mob of tourists.
Flying the Zupair Zulu which is so far my favourite all rounder. I have had to strengthen the fuse with a couple of CF 3 mm bars down the sides. After several low speed nose plants I could see that it wouldn't be able to take many more.

Good effort, nice one! Never really thought of sloping there, I always thought the landing would be a real challenge. We usually go down the bottom and use my DLG on the mini ridge.

Good to know RC. The landing is "pick a bush" so not ideal.

Nice flying man , who makes this plane , or did you build it yourself, looks a bit like the weasel from Dream Flight , you know my Alula is on the way . Thanks for sending this link Ron
