Yeah the only bad thing about bots is that they can see through vehicle smoke and through vegetation, so any vietnam war maps or insurgent maps are really painful

Well Coop also has a bad side Despite being braindead the bots can like see you through a long ass distance, and not affected by smoke and all And can headshot you using some goofy ass SMG

Yeah I'm a coop casual too, I do hate how bots work in PR, being stuck in one place or not using full auto or even straight up head shoting you, and so on, which is why I look forward to Operation Harsh Doorstop

I kind of like how it leads to getting pinned down while you figure out where the shots are coming from rather than the instant death I experience on deployment. It's a trade off for me

I like PR but I hate the fact that enemies are just scattered around the map and they cannot be marked. That is one thing I loved about Squad, you knew where the enemies are but not exactly where they are. Another thing I dislike about PR is that once you are shot and there are no medics, might as well suicide since you are gonna die eventually. People rarely take medic kit anyway. Also, for some reason Squad leaders in PR are worse than the ones in Squad...

Played my first game today! Went 7-2. Was a blast! You got me to try it out. I’m thinking I might as well get used to pr because squad is failing. The squad vs squad gameplay was sick. People actually defended and didn’t run off. We had 5 Russians repel over the hesco wall? I got 2 of them. That was sick!

How would you compare flying in PR vs. Squad? I’m a confident pilot on the latter game but haven’t yet had a crack at PR’s helicopters - as much fun as they look.

@@SouperForSupper I haven’t flown helicopters in Squad but I can compare them to the ones in Arma, RS2: Vietnam, Battlefield games, etc. - the flying in PR is arcade-ish with a decent amount of realism and that’s why it’s so fun, though not all helicopters are as responsive as the NH90. I’d advise you to just install the game, jump in a training server (or make one yourself) and try them out 🦾

I really liked the video, and I appreciate how new people get to know PR, I've been playing for many years and every game I play I see the game decay, honestly I'm not saying that your video is bad, but I think you should also show some moments of what 95% of a game is like, mainly at the beginning of the game, without many kill highlights, but showing when the squad is organized to capture an objective, the supply system, the conversation between the players, the communication used, I think this is important because as I said at the beginning, I've been playing PR for several years and I know why this happens, one of the main reasons is new players who see PR as a Battlefield or Cod, only caring about kills and status, the game is to be played with a lot of cooperation and communication. But I have to admire your skills as a marksman which are also very useful in a match. I'm just saying all this (sorry if it was long) to explain how it would be a way to introduce a milsin to new people and I hope you and anyone else who made it this far understand that.

I do enjoy PR, but I've been in a bit of a slump. I'm a newer player that has some real fun matches, but there is certain things holding me back. Like how I have heard that servers like HOG are just not very friendly when it comes to new people. Admins or something. There is also the Brazil server but I don't know if playing there is a good idea since I only know English. Any tips?

Just ask lots of questions and if you feel like a player is being disrespectful then leave the squad and join another. In my experience 90% of the players are really nice and love helping new people learn. A good squad leader will make the game 100x better.

the battlefield 2 engine doesn't let them have real bipods so deploying anywhere but slowing your movement to near nothing is what they had to do. a weapon with a deployed bipod is also technically a completely seperate gun as far as they game's concerned aswell

As a long time PR player DO not waste time playing this again there are TWO serves so expect to be constantly abused by admins and to never get to be in the cas of air squad without being booted then them acting like they didn’t just boot you, mess up once and the entire community will bully you as a new player and never let you live down a single mistake trust me PR HAS A VERY TOXIC COMMUNITY it seems like ya this is great but there all assholes you will see if you waste your time

PR is arguably the greatest mod ever created, and one of the best _games_ ever, but I hated any IDF round on the old FCV and Hog servers back in the day. It was always endless TKing and asset stealing on the MEC/Hamas/etc. team, along with stream sniping and ghosting by IDF players. MEC etc. couldn't even get out of spawn without being TKed, and you'd have to watch MEC etc. assets stolen and then driven round in circles somewhere off in a corner of the map. IDF team always seemed to know exactly where their enemies were at all times and what they were doing or planning. About the only time I saw IDF lose was when mods mass blocked a bunch of IDF troll IPs. I hope those days are over forever!
