Please do a follow up video with a look at the CD on a PC. Maybe see if you could add different ROMs by burning new CDs.

NES is to consoles like Doom to games. They are everywhere.

I think it’s thanks to the lack of strong copy protection (apart from the disk system)

Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever come across doom already on something, apart from this China clone mini arcade machine I have

Did you dump the disk I have something similar but have no disk for it
@Slot1Gamer3 жыл бұрын
I will try and dump it, I currently don’t have a CD drive in the computer

The Bung Dr. V64 also has a clone NES inside with karaoke functions.

No ROM playback though. It’s just used for the menu system and button controls.

@@Slot1Gamer LOL! Funny you should mention that... my V64jr512 is on the floor next to me with a Bung Multi Xchanger attached to it (the part that lets you transfer N64 and GB ROM files from a modded Playstation). I was testing a PS1Digital + xStation install when we took a direct hit from an EF-4 tornado last week and we are still recovering so it has been laying there ever since, visible in a few of my aftermath videos (rebranded “E64” since Nintendo managed to block US imports of V64 products). The cool thing about the Multi Xchanger was that it essentially turned the V64jr products into full-fledged Doctor V64 units by using the PSX as a CD-ROM drive. :) It also eliminated the need to have a PC nearby or use batteries to shuttle back and forth. I also have the GB Xchanger and Doctor GB Card (rebranded Mr. Flash) which were all part of the interoperable Bung Multi Game Doctor³ series (MGD³).

I still have this kind of VCD the sony bootleg VCD and use it on my daily mp3 stuff. Sound quality for mp3 is superb on that player

@@Slot1Gamer Mine was a bootleg version though and the roms directly ran off a cd which came shipped with it. There were other rom cds floating around but back they were very hard to find. My cd already had Super Mario Bros, Contra, 1943, Adventure Island and more.
