I do love Golgari. ALSO you don't know how much this means to me on this specific day. I've been having mixed feelings mostly sadness but this definitely has made my day. Today my father would of been 60 years old, but he died suddenly and tragically September 30th, 2024. i just want to say thank you for this shoutout on such a gloomy day. ill treasure it forever.

Hah, I was shocked that the opponent didn't play Kaya in that first game to get rid of Doubling Season. You luckily had another coming on the next draw, but you would have had to try and get rid of that pesky Kaya with an ultimated Lili out of your graveyard. (And they would also have that Doubling Season spirit on the board from Kaya.)

I honestly felt like they play Overconfidently, just ignoring some of threats thinking we won't take advantage of their slow answers. We did :) As we know, Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer

Atraxa players are overly reliant on just Atraxa. They are used to people scooping when Atraxa hits the board, so they dont know what to do afterwards.

I run a similar deck. I use Jace as a finisher. I do want to note that, in general, you should never cast a second Doubling Season. In game one, if you hadn't cast the DS, you could have ultimated Liliana twice that turn. I've gotten to do it four times in one turn. Pretty devastating to the opponent.

I don't think it is - as poison counters (if I recall right, specifically checked wording some time ago) - aren't put on any permanent :) They don't get doubled, so you can ult, but it doesn't win game alone. Might be wrong, but I recall that was the interaction :)

The first half of text on doubling season is what matters. Vraska is 18 poison with an ultimate

Yep, inkeepers talent has different wording, that's why you can use Vraska there, but not with doubling season :)

@keycuz Vraska is 9 poison with doubling season, check wording on talent vs season to see there's "permanents or players" clause or smth like this, but only on talent :) That's why it doubles ultimate, contrary to doubling season, making Vraska way worse in this build
