The development of the Slovakian cuisine and gastronomic habits changed its staple directions throughout history, depending on the different civilizations that had inhabited the land of today’s Slovakia. The position of Slovakia in Central Europe has provided the country and insight and contact with different cultures. As a part from the former Hungarian state, Slovakia was under a great influence of the Romanian culture and the features of the Western European culture were underlined by the colonists, mainly Germanic countries, who inhabited Slovakia from the early Middle Ages to the 20th century.

First please get it right to say who’s food you are talking about- it’s Slovak. Usually made into “-ian” from totally other country Slovenia. Then the pictures don’t match with text at all. And nope haven’t met a single Slovak yet who likes this much sour cream as is said in the vid. And my favourite wasn’t even shown. In general I don’t like Slovak dishes, and those dishes I recreate way better than themselves natives (that’s their words not mine haha); and then there’s that halušky that I can’t get enough off.

There is no such thing as Slovakian food because there's no such word Slovakian. It's Slovak food. Slovak cities, Slovak mountains, Slovak people but no Slovakian. Stick to Switzerlandian food.

First, it is not SLovakian food, it is just SLOVAK FOOD! Also a Slovak should do this video. You are seriously mispronouncing many words. It is really irritating.
