So good. Love these kinds of videos. I'd love one focusing on a faster shuffle. I have a small repertoire of licks and am constantly building my repertoire, but find it difficult to improvise with and around them. Of course I'm a noob but content on that kind of subject would be really cool.

Excellent, Ronnie! Too often harpists (in particular beginners) tend to believe that they must constantly play and do not appreciate the use of space and things one can do with just a minimum of notes. As mentioned already, this is very similar to what the great Miles Davis did on his trumpet. Thank you, Ronnie. 🎼🎵

Slow and elegant is often more enjoyable than a barrage of notes. Sometimes less is more. Especially with blues. It’s more about the emotion. Not that there’s anything wrong with hitting the gas just playing fast for the sake of playing fast gets old quick.

No. I am mixing it up. It's easy to tell where I'm tongue blocking typically because you can hear me slap the notes. for example, the riff at 5:07 is all tongue blocked.
