Hello everyone,
Welcome to one of my favorite videos to make: slow cars driving fast on the Nurburgring Nordschleife during Touristenfahrten (Public driving). It is always great to see a normal/slow car being pushed to the absolute limit by advanced drivers on the track and also managing to keep up with much quicker cars. At 15:00 the camera move is amusing, both the BMW and Citroën Picasso arrives and... the camera pans to focus on the Picasso. That was funny. And yeah, more variety and fun; after all, you can display your skills in a vehicle tailored for speed, but you show skills even better when doing it in a vehicle not designed for it.

No, at 1:12 you can clearly see there is no camber, its when the suspension stretches in the corner that it changes.

The thing with underpowered cars is you have to absolutely nail the driving just to keep in traffic and you can't afford to brake cos you are never getting the speed back. 😅😅

I used to have a Renault express (badged as an Extra in the UK) back in the 90's and it was super quick especially from standstill, the 1.9 litre engine driving tiny 155 tyres combined with a light body made for some entertaining driving, the seats were super comfy too!

Hi, basicly it s not an " event ", ok to some people shure, it s a public toll road. You can drive any street legal vehicle in touristenfahrten, here it s the speed thats makes the different. You wont drive these cars like this on public roads or drive this " style " on roads!😊

Yall americans think a car needs a v8 to even move. That renault express is a lightweight 90s car (back when the only safety features between the inside and outside was just a thin metal piece and hard plastic to add some beauty) with a fuel efficient european engine, I've seen those things on the fast lane of the highway overtaking a new bmw. You also see those things full of cargo, that's why they'd move slower, but without any cargo they're as agile as any car.

1:27 You can actually tune a Kia Rio5 to be pretty bloody sporty. Sounds like he's done that, probably pulling 200 HP or so from it (it's stock 135).

The most powerful version in Europe is the 1.4 l 109 hp. The "big" 1.6 was not offered here. 😄
