I just love this Amy! Thank you so much for sharing this Caribbean recipe. I’ve wanted one for a long time. Sending Love and prayers from your neighbors in Texas 🤠💗 We are also studying in James in church. This is another example of how incredible Our Lord is. I just read over this very same scripture in James. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about prayer too. I am not able to work a paying job or do anything physically challenging so I’m always trying to find ways I can bless others. I began trying to pray for as many people as needed it, several years ago. It is a huge responsibility. When people call me a “prayer warrior” I just cringe. I am going to start writing mine too. Thank you so much Amy! Your ministry is so precious to me and to so many others. God bless you 😘💗🙏

P.S. The results are in and oh my goodness, the house smelled like heaven all day long, what a delicious recipe Amy! The only thing I did differently was to let that wonderful sauce cool a bit and then dusted off my electric emulsifier, pulsed all of the vegetables to thicken it up and incorporate all of those flavors and it turned out great! I rarely use that little gadget so it always makes me happy when I can put it work and it makes me feel a little fancy, haha! 😄 Thanks so much for taking the time to share and I hope your parents are doing well.❤😘

I am so glad to see you using your platform to talk about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I too have been trying to improve my prayer life. I found the podcast The Bible In A Year by Ascension Press. Sometimes it can be easier when zesting citrus, if you turn your zester over run it over your fruit. Little easier to control where you are zesting, plus as a bonus, all your zest stays on the zester and you can just wipe it off into your dish. So you hold your lime and move the zester.
@amyslouisianakitchen3 жыл бұрын
I’ll do that way next time😊
@LisaSmith-kb4he3 жыл бұрын
Oh sweet Amy ..I wasn't meaning to tell you that you were doing it wrong or should change how you do it. I just thought it would be helpful to people who said they had trouble trying to use a zester. 😊

Hey there, Amy girl! So good to see you tonight. You look so lovely & John Murray is so handsome! 😊 Your Chicken rice & peas recipe looked so wonderful. I know y’all enjoyed it for supper tonight. You are not the only one who has been convicted of her prayer life. This has been eating at me for quite awhile now. Makes me think of the movie, The War Room. Amazing movie if you haven’t seen it. I KNOW some real Prayer Warriors and I know that I don’t even come close to these precious saints of God. When you first began speaking from your heart, one of the same verses you read came immediately to mind. KJV The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Pray without ceasing is another prayer scripture. No one knows like you know what God’s done for you. Same for each of us. I can’t praise Him for you or you for me. I don’t know all He’s seen you through so I can’t feel the thankfulness like you can and vice versa. One thing I became aware of some years ago and it changed the way I approach God. I begin with Enter into His Gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. So before I begin praying for someone, I first give Him praise and Thanks. He is high and lifted up! Then I approach Him with my petitions in His Name. There’s an old old song that says, I just came to talk with you Lord. I didn’t come here to ask you for anything, I just came to talk with you, Lord. I’m sure it’s on You Tube by Dottie Rambo. She’s always been my favorite gospel singer/songwriter. Let us all pray for each other that we become more like Jesus. Well, Miss Sunshine ☀️ I will not write an epistle this time. I had a fall a few hours ago and hurt my right arm. Took me a long time to get up, but thankfully I didn’t break anything. My arm is really sore and hurting though. Have a good week. Praying everything falls into place for your Mama and Daddy. Love all of you. 💜🙏🏻

Love love love your message😊💜 yes yes yes to everything you just said. And I’m sure praying for you to have a speedy recovery with your arm. So sorry you fell. You are so sweet to me all the time. God Bless you. Take care of yourself girlie😊💜 love what you said about thankfulness!! Some days that is all I do is prayers of thankfulness. We have so much to be thankful for. I know he doesn’t hear that near enough! Thank you for reminding me of this. Might have to be what I talk about next😊😊

Amy you are truly a blessing 🥰 as you strive to be a prayer warrior always remember that because of what Jesus did we are already righteous. (Is. 53:5) If there were anything we could do to get us to Heaven or make us Right with God there would have been no need for Jesus to die. So strive but when you fail or fall short don’t forget that you are covered by His Blood and filled to overflowing with His Love as evidenced in your videos. 🥰 So don’t be hard on yourself. Know you are precious to Him and deeply Loved by Him as are we all that Believe that He is the one true Son of God who die for our sins. Simple as that. Praying our precious Heavenly Father God’s rich blessings on you and your family as you continue to lift Him👆🏼up in Jesus’ almighty Name! I Love you sweet girl!!!🥰💜❤️💙🤗
