RECIPES:
Sweet Pickled Radishes
Ingredients:
8-10 icicle radishes (cleaned and sliced)
1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 white vinegar
1/4 cup cane sugar
1 tsp crushed peppercorn
1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
1 tsp kosher salt
1 bay leaf
Thoroughly clean one pint mason jar and lid with soap and hot water. Let dry. Place all ingredients (except garlic and radishes) into a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Place garlic and radishes into jar, followed by the hot pickled liquid. Cover and tighten jar with lid. Allow to cool completely before placing in the refrigerator. Can be eaten after 2 hours but taste best after 24 hours. Keep refrigerated after every use.
