So my grandma is going to pass away real soon. This song brought so many great memories of her love and kindness. I wrote what I am going to say at her funeral when the time comes and I cried the entire time I wrote with this song.

Since the first time I´ve heard this song I knew: This is the song I want my loved ones to play for me on my funeral. That seems strange cause I´m 37 and fine but you´ll never know when life´s over... This masterpiece is great!

I played this at my father's funeral, we choose it together except he'd transitions and I was sat with the pen and paper mapping out his service... uncanny huh?! That was 6 years ago, and this song still holds deep emotions. Beautiful masterpiece.

It will pass. No matter if it’s good or bad, happy or sad. As for me so for you, but that’s the beauty of it to. When i look unto the sky, and see the moon upon it high. I ask myself in deep regret, why we’re not grateful for what we get? So I’ll enjoy this world of mess, sometimes more and sometimes less. - J.B

Is that the west pier in Brighton? Believe me or not, I was there as a kid when it caught fire. Shame. There's less and less of it as time goes on.

how are your memories of this place like? I would like to know... seems to be a beautiful place
@Motherslapper6 жыл бұрын
Vanessa Coelho on my other account. Brighton is a wonderful city. I just remembered telling my parents it was on fire and they told me I was being silly (the grown ups got it wrong). I heard rumors there was a competition to refurbish the pier into an arcade similar to the main Brighton pier, which is about a kilometre away. Then it suspiciously caught fire, and the plans had to be abandoned. there was a red glow from the inside. everyone was pretty relaxed about it, and a lot of brightonians are pretty relaxed people. a lot of the wreckage collapsed in the last year or so. it still stands there; defiant of the waves of modernity. who knows how long it will last.
