Pathos in B minor! Love it. One astonishing aspect of Bobby's playing is how a middle aged man who still has great hair can find enough inner pain and melancholia to pull off the blues so consistently. I suppose it must be love of the art form. ;)

I believe it's all you. You may have learned from the other greats, but do not take anything from yourself. You are an excellent player and even a better teacher.

There are simply not enough comments on KZbin praising Bobby for his exceptional and indispensable online blues guitar course. This video does a great job of showing that he teaches not just technique and execution, but really gets across the soulfulness of a really wonderful blues solo while showing how to express that “feeling.” I can’t recommend highly enough.

I’ve just happened upon it for the first time tonight and I’m really digging what I’ve seen so far! The course is pretty expansive on the website? Is there new content regularly?

Bar five switches to the 5 chord? Is this different from most 12 bar blues where the 4 chord comes in at bar five? (serious question)

Prefer less narrative, more demo... too many words... I am sure there are a lot of "ear players" like me that learn easier from repetitive demos of riffs etc. Your play style speaks for itself, let's hear more of teh music.

Luckily, in this modern age in which we live, there's a handy slider below most online video players that allows you to skip forward. Or you can watch the video at double speed.
@johng2880 Жыл бұрын
I also found this weird feature, that you can play the video over from the beginning as many times as you want. I learned this from doing that a few dozen times (maybe more). Great lesson.@@absolutebluesguitarlessons2722
