This was great, thanks, I've been looking for "learn to play lead blues guitar licks and phrasing lesson" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Wanichael Corylexander Equalizer - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my neighbour got great results with it.

I really liked how you created tension, so that by the 3rd time around the listener is getting chills. No matter how hard I try, I can't create that tension. In fact, by the 3rd time around my listeners are probably yawning. (If not throwing tomatoes) I think with guitar, you either got it or you don't. YOU have it! Thanks for a great lesson anyway!

Sounds great man, thank you. My tagima 635 looks just like that, except maple fretboard, with some upgrades over any squier (bone nut, 2 point trem, split post tuners, full size alder body, neck heel carve, alnico pickups, maple or rosewood fretboard) for 169 bucks a year ago. Now they are 299 dollars...fender doesnt come close in bang for the buck. Same with the monorprice 15w tube amp I got awhile back for under 150 bucks, now 249 dollars. Sounds amazing (when someone else is playing) for under 400 bucks.

The melody to " Have you ever loved a woman" by Derek and the Dominos, is a "generic" blues tune. Memorizing that melody, on guitar, will give you, basically, what all blues songs sound like. It's a template, a - basic one size fits all - form.Blues players just embellish and innovate on that basic melody. The lead solo by Eric Clapton is "on fire". For advanced players....
