Hey good to see you Mike, even though you moved!! That does look like a cool kettle, with some changes that are pretty nice over the standard kettle. Looking forward to seeing more on it. Cheers brother!

Thanks Charlie! So glad I bumped into the Dead Broke BBQ live stream and you in the chat last night. It was a great show and it’s been a while since I’ve hung out in a chat. It was a lot of fun!

I would like using a rotation grill surface as long as it can be locked tight if not needed. The food getting moved around using a spatula or tools may cause unwanted grate movement and could be annoying 😂. Great video
@thekettlecookers3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! There isn’t really a way to lock the grate in place, but that’s the case with all round grates for the most part. I’ve never really had any issues with it spinning when trying to get a spatula or tongs underneath of foods.

@@thekettlecookers I'm sure a quick look around the hardware store would uncover an idea for a little hooking mechanism of some kind if you're handy and it bothers ya😂

Sounds like a great excuse to drop a couple grand on a welder and a plasma torch! 🤔🤣😂

@@thekettlecookers I was thinking to carefully drill a small hole and perhaps attach a hook on the inside to latch around the grate. A hook to flip up off or down into a locking space.. just need to get a place on the outside ring of the grate to place two small things that the hook can be lowered between.

Nice video! Quick question. Is there a port on the bottom half of the kettle (for a fan attachment)? It looked like there was but I couldn’t tell for sure.
@thekettlecookers3 жыл бұрын
Yes, watch the video! There’s no way you watched it since it’s been public for less than 5 minutes and it’s a 23 minute video!!! 🤔😬😂🤣

Just used my SnS XL a few days ago on the 26". My Weber sat out 18 months and not covered 2 winters, It looks brand new. The Slow n Sear is holding up great! Love the combo and never use my smoker anymore unless it's for jerky or hanging a netted cured ham 👍
@thekettlecookers3 жыл бұрын
A 26er with a SnSXL is hard to beat! Plenty of extra room and doesn’t use too much for charcoal than a 22.

@@thekettlecookers I would recommend anyone who is thinking about a smoker to get a weber and the slow and sear. Grab a couple bags of wood chunks and maybe a pellet tray or tube for doing cheese or light and no heat smoking. Can't go wrong with a kettle as a do it all grill/smoker.

Is copy Weber. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 No original idea manufacture. 😤
@thekettlecookers3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it’s a copy with everything serious Weber fans wished Weber would do like the probe port and air controller port.
