@@nessstooo Yeah think it had disconnected from the internet without me realising, so hotspotted it to my phone, did the latest update as it was offline for like 3 years lol, finished the update, connected it back to wifi and it’s been fine ever since and stays connected all the time too, plus runs way quicker again thankfully! Give it a go dude

Just hold the power button for 5 seconds and do a cold restart after you run the device care and only have a few apps on the home screen all the cover arts that are above the app when you hover over it are actually taking up space in the background you can add them when you use them or just open the app in the app launcher when it gots to fetch all that information it slows down the scroll

Forget all this. Hold the power button while the tv is on, it will turn off, wait for it to turn on again while you hold the power button. Everything is buttery smooth again

That’s because you probably have one app open. Exit all apps or unplug the tv and plug back in and then do this.

You have to make sure you exit all the apps or else it will be greyed out. Once you close apps it will become available

yeah but I would expect such a slow software on tv with 300 price point not 1000 and above.... I own 2 samsungs one 1000 and 2500 TVs the more expensive is kind of ok have some issues time to time. But 1000 one what brought me to this video.... pain in the ass...

Agree but this is the reason you don’t own a TV company. Think about it if they make a perfectly awesome working tv then people would just buy it once and be done but they release it and continue to make it faster and better at a very slow pace. The same strategy is following by all companies and Apple is a prime example. Don’t you think they are capable to make devices with super fast speeds now. Yes they can but no they won’t because to them that’s the business. They release new models each year and make money..it’s all a $$$$ game my friend.

You have to close all the apps before using that. If it’s greyed out means apps are open. You can also unplug and plug your tv which would close apps.

How do I get the list of apps to appear in the quick settings menu at the bottom of the screen when I press the Settings/123 button? I’ve seen the apps list appear in other videos about this tv but when I press it all I get are the settings options or list of numbers.

Ive been helping my mum set up her Samsung The Frame and have been very un impressed with it in general, the interface is clunky and slow especially immediately after starting it up, it pauses play back for a second when you try to do anything other than just watch content and it makes a complete mess of playing movies back from an external 3.2 usb stick. For a 2023 tv its pathetic....These instructions didn't help me.

The best solution for the future is to not buy LG or Samsung TVs due to all the software issues, while the hardware may be OK and seem a good deal, their software is awful. If they actually bothered to test and resolve the bugs and issues before releasing the products, there would be no need for these how to fix videos. Consumer Law needs to change to make it easier to claim a refund, if you find the TV not fit for purpose, due to the bugs and incompatibilities.

@@HowToDoitright Up to you but the ux for their smart TV is incredibly slow a mobile chipset from 5 years ago has 20x the performance and they only go by the pennies. No sure why they don't add those in there. Their settings are jumbled up. Their App library is lacking. Their defaults are terrible. AI upscaling is horrible. I had to calibrate the TV colour myself and turn off their smooth motion nonsense so my movies don't look like blury 60fps. I would be nice if their screens worked like their phone screens. No nonsense added. Just works. Doesn't mess with the content.

@@chudchadanstud​​⁠agree but I’m talking about picture quality mainly. I couldn’t compare this to any tv I have renowned. But I have the high end version QN90 series and it’s a lot better than this one. This is just a small backup one in room and agree it sucks but to deal with their slow interface I endup getting the Amazon fire cube and that solved that issue. I just use the fire cube to operate the tv and I don’t even feel that there is a box connected to the tv. Try it and it’s amazing.
