This is great! I’m glad your video was suggested, I used to make fabric covered notebooks when I was younger and this reminds me of that time.

So you over the whole piece of backing fabric I would like to make a scrappy type Ihave a nice piece of cream on cream I want to add patches here and there Im not too sure how to begin i cant find anyone talking about this type
@PeaceOMindArt3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ammiel. You can watch my videos on my channel entitled "Slow Stitch Pillow Top" part 1 and 2. The video shows how to place other fabrics, lace, etc. and sew down to a background fabric. you can cut backing fabric any size you want, then sew down the pieces. Thanks for watching

Hi , so basically you can use any fabric, or do y need special fabric.
@PeaceOMindArt2 жыл бұрын
Sure, any fabric will work. If you are using fabric on a cover, you will need to consider the weight (thickness) of the fabric and avoid too thin as the glue may show through. If you are sewing anything you can make sure it will go through the machine easily. Thanks for watching Marlene!

Can you please tell me what conversation hearts are used for
@PeaceOMindArt2 жыл бұрын
Sure! They can be used for ornaments, as an alternative to a greeting card, as a decoration in a journal or on a cover. At Christmas I make hearts that are decorated in Christmas supplies and also have a "sentiment" on them. That is why they are called Conversation Hearts. I sell them in my Etsy shop.

Thanks for watching Sandy. I get most of my fabric from Joannes. I think Tim Holtz has some fabric with writing on it.
