Hey friend, I finally finished that Cat piece I told you about last time. I'd started a piece after watching one of your vids, (after about 3 years of procrastinating)it looked wonky, so just stuck it back, unfinished, with all the other misfits. So after procrastinating for about 3 years.. I pulled it out again, and finished it up just a few hours later! I'm so happy that I did. It's my little, Tri fold concertina. Cat, what a marvelous book this is becoming! Love all the cotton/linen pieces and adore the old handwritten pieces. I think the art of handwriting is going the way of the old hoop skirts. How tragic! Love it! I did some tea and coffee dyeing of vintage linens a while ago and was impatient to get them dried. Laid them loosely on cookie sheets in a low oven. Wherever the linens touched the pan, the fabric scorched a little and I got some interesting marks. Just an idea to share.
