I met Muddy while on the Hard Again tour. I had several friends playing with him in the show,Johnny Winter,Charles Calmese ,James Cotton. When I walked into Muddy's room I told him Mr. Morganfield what a pleasure it is to meet you tonite. He said ,"Tony my friends call me Muddy" then he introduced me to his wife and we had some champagne. He won another Grammy from that release!😊

They are Fantastic, without a doubt. I'm sure that someone somewhere could be close to this particular group at this particular time with Muddy Waters. Problem is you have to have an ear for the sound and this younger generation doesn't. I play guitar and I wish that I had the tone of James Madison.
