When I met my future wife to be she was 19 years old and this was “our song.” Not to mention the coolest part was that I was 18! We used to go see Muddy back then, in 1969. 55 years later we are still together (married 52). Thank you Muddy for the advice!

Privileged to spend an evening with Sonny Boy Muddy Waters, Memphis Slim, and others at Croydon in 1963. He let me carry his attaché case, which contained several harps and a bottle of Johnny Walker. He passed around the table and insisted we all take a swig. All the kids were transfixed as Sonny did his set backed by Eric Clapton( I’d Never Heard of him) what a magic evening…. If the Lord asks about one of my best times on earth, this was the most memorable…Sonny Boy wanted to live in England.. he really made a mark. It didn’t happen and he died in 1965, the year I emigrated to the Us. Thank God for KZbin…😊

One of my favorite songs since early 70s when I was a teenager.... I later learned the depth of this and truth in the words. Now, at 64, I am singing it again over my 31 year old girlfriend... Nothin I can do to please her ......make this young women feel satisfied... Yikes

Argotero, I got to sit in with most of these guys, Willie bigeyes Smith drums, Calvin Jones bass, pinetop perkins piano, aftermuddy passed away, in Denver and ft Collins Colorado, me and willy smith were good friends, when they played in Denver or Fort Collins or Greeley, we would go for a ride up in the Rocky Mountains very mellow guy what memories😎I’m 78 now

I got to play with willy big eyes 😳 smith drums, Calvin Jones bass, pinetop perkins piano when muddy waters passed away, they became the legendary blues band, They were playing in Fort Collins Colorado and someone called me and told me Jerry portnoys fender super reverb blew up and they knew I had one so I lend it to him and I got to blow harp with portnoy and the band and the second time I got to play with them was At the Greeley blues Festival and the 3rd time at the soiled dove in Denver, me and Willie bigeyes Smith were great friends, when they played around the area me and Willie would go for drives up in the mountains He loved the Rocky Mountains we kept in touch for a few years now and then he would send me a album, what memories😎

At 14 , why that king biscuit show with johnny winters , james cottan and willie dixon changed me forever. Glad for being there. Available on internet. This is like when I was a kid listening to a little am transistor radio after bedtime discovering something new from far away. You know you've stumbled onto something special that other people have known about, and now you're in. I'm not new to the blues but hearing this made me feel like I am. The suits, the haircuts, the photography. It's like a time machine, like I'm somehow really there as its happening and not just a video. Man! Thank you.
