So I also started playing UO on Atlantic in the summer of last year and started with nothing. It was a ton of fun. I also built a sampire and I used rich from pacifics guide to help me get started. The one thing I wish someone had told me is where to farm the high end gear that people sell for a ton of gold. Not only as a form of gold farm to get started but just to get some good armor. One or two pieces of high end armor make getting a sampire off the ground so much easier. If you want to do that go to underwater and farm the boss down there. If you watch general chat people will say they have keys and are forming up. They'll gate you in (or you can do the quest to let yourself in). It's rough down there on sampire but you can take a mage down there and just heal people/pets and get loot rights. That's where the majority of the high end armor that isn't a named artifact comes from. I also wrote a full sampire guide if you're interested but I will leave that for you to decide :P.

Your toon wouldn't swing because of low stam.. keep some red pots with you.. also some yellow pots for the times you need to run!

Sampires should be plain studded leather. Imbued then enhanced with the 100% enhance tool. Most likely horned for the extra fire resist. For the 55% lmc

The 100% enhance tool is a purchase from the shop right? I've been trying to minimize that as much as possible with the exception of the skill stone and one ethereal mount. My issue is without the 100% tool you fail on enhance more often than not, and boy you lose a lot of materials when that happens. (Right? You have to powder of fort and imbue THEN try to enhance?)

@@WafflesMcGregor so yea, but you can buy in game with gold as well. Yes I’d NEVER enhance without the tools. You’d lose so many materials. It’s also probably a 98% fail

@@JoN-bi5ci 10 use version @ 72 million. OUCH. Once I get my final powerscrolls sorted I may return to make the ultimate luck suit/sampire suit, provided I already haven't upgraded significantly from endgame content drops.

Actually, I found that if you eat until almost but not quite full you hit better, some will tell you it makes no difference but it always did for me, can’t hurt to try :). Carry fish steaks, they are light weight to carry, keep about 50 on you.
