I am African and we are the same. I grate when someone says YOUR mother. Even if it is not a romantic relationship, I will either say mom or aunt. I am grateful to your husband for teaching you. Dear Aisha and Jungu ! What a beautiful day trip ….. thank you for sharing this with me 😊 ! I smiled at Jungu’s gentle reminder of what to call eomoni 😊 . My aunties (Korean , Okinawa , Chinese and Vietnamese) are all addressed differently and I have to do a quick mental quiz every time I see or talk on the phone with them ….. 😂😂😂😂😂 ! I love them all 😊 ! I call my dad FATMAN even though they call him oppa , atta , or the equivalent of favorite brother in law (they all live in Hawaii ) and I live in the mid-west on the mainland. I always laugh at the looks I get from my cousins here in the mainland when we get together at Thanksgiving and they call me from Hawaii (usually when the aunties and mom are having their after dinner mahjong games) rubbing in the facts : #1 I’m not there , #2 they cooked all of my favorites , #3 I still don’t know how to play mahjong and I won’t learn how to play properly because I’m not there for them to teach me and lastly they miss me 😊. My cousins frequently ask me how can you switch languages so fast ? I reply “practice” and besides after the initial greetings they switch to English 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Then they ask why don’t you play mahjong? I replied “when those 4 play it’s like getting involved in a high stakes , cut throat poker game in a casino . 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 . Then they start putting money on the table and I prefer to just sit back and watch the show 😂😂😂😂😂 😂. Besides , when they start trying to teach me I get directions in 4 different languages! Ha ha ha😂 . I loved the temple , the museum and foot spa .😊 . The view of the red horse forest and mountains was spectacular! The two of you are such a beautiful, loving couple with 2 beautiful babies 😊❤❤❤❤❤ . Wishing you all the very best ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

This vlog had a calming effect. We watched it without a peep from anyone. No one looked at their phone. Sis, continue making wholesome videos of you, your family and South Korea. Don't be tempted to speak ill of the country of the man you love and its people, especially indirect attacks on In-Laws and societal matters. Some migrant Vloggers think that it is okay to keep posting negative vlogs about the countries they are married into, but actually it will not be looked upon kindly by the people of the country that host them. A family, for instance, may fight and be critical each other, but the moment an outsider attacks one of them, they will all defend the family member. A non-Korean living in Korea should refrain from constantly posting vlogs criticising Korea and Koreans. ❤

I think in english, saying "Jungu's mom" helps, atleast for us, to differentiate and understand who you are talking about. Like if you had just said "mom" or "our mom" or "my mom", I would have thought you were talking about Mom in Italy :D , it would have taken me a second. But, from now on, I will understand that if you just say "mom" it could also just mean your mother in law too :D ^^
