Great video. But also illustrates why I avoid using trebles....

Have you found that smaller lures swim ok with singles? We use double singles sometimes on big poppers and stickbaits.

Thanks Clyde! Yeah, I had water on the gills as much as possible, but I wasn't well equipped for a quick release. Lesson learned for next time! Aloha!!!

Thanks for highlighting Vanuatu. New sub here. FYI, there's bigger gamefish in southern islands of Vanuatu that can be accessed from rock fishing. Tight lines!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I have plans to go south once corona virus calms down, I have colleagues on most of the islands and there's one or two that look pretty badass.

Hello man! I’m going to Port Vila Vanuatu for a month, do you know good places to fish on efate ? I bring my own rod and lures, I’m usually a fly fisher for trouts in France but I’m going to have a good times against these monsters 😮
@SlowriseFishing Жыл бұрын
there are fish in the harbour, but I'd try and get up north, or out on a boat if you can!

Looks fantastic. Did you bring your own rod or did you hire it locally?

I brought it myself.

Did you get permission to fish?
@dustinfrost52144 ай бұрын
Why would he need permission to fish
@martinrobinson9364 ай бұрын
@@dustinfrost5214 Vanuatu waters are owned by the original peoples, so permission is needed over there.

Hi there, What kind of fishing rods do you use? Could you please recommend me one? Thank you.
@SlowriseFishing5 жыл бұрын
Most of my light rods are daiwa, the rod on this video is a Daiwa demon blood, it's quite good. For heavier popping we build rods ourselves. What kind of fishing do you do?
