Such gorgeous pieces. I see what you mean that the drift bit I gave you is a good color. It would work with the feed sack pouch. Love the little ready made lace pouch. So sweet. I could almost see it hanging over with the flap on the feed sack, although definitely wouldn’t want to cover the lovely patching. I’m sure you have plenty of your own wonderful ideas. 🎉 ❤xx

What lovely treasures, Kate, Thankyou for sharing these. As well as these coming from historic times to you, some of them probably have already been on three or four garments already as we are the first generation not to re-use our treasures - especially those suited to clothes. Some of those laces have already been on a christening grown and a ball dress and maybe a petticoat edging, then cut off and put away for a rainy day. I think that ecru pouch was used for stockings, which were ironed and put away and kept flat until worn again. I love your channel.
