Hi Kate, I just love when you share your treasures! Wow, what a a beautiful cross stitch you unwrapped! You made my day. I so look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing them. I’m dying to do some stitching, but it’s going to have to wait. So I’ll just enjoy watching you until I can. I taught my last class today. I’m so blessed to have these beautiful women as my friends. I feel the same excitement about my classes as you when you talk about going to the Green Door studio! It’s amazing how much joy comes from sharing stitches with each other, whether we’re near or far . Happy stitching my friend!

Beautiful doilies! I am inspired by the flowers with the seed stitches. Since it's hard to find doilies here and they are really pricey, I keep a length of nice linen handy and just do random flowers when the mood strikes and have been harvesting as needed. Will try that flower. You are really encouraging me to be more free, which makes things end up more beautiful. Thank you Kate!

Beautiful Kate* my favorite color is Green and Im excited to see what you'll be doing with your new packets... gorgeous doilys... they are getting hard to find but every now and then I find a few in the 2nd hand shops. Sorry for your crazy day... Glad your son is alright and he is home. I have been busy stitching everyday, starting on a pouch from a box of material a neighbor gave to me. I have been making my own dangling from necklaces. I made jewelry before i had my stroke so i just use those containers of beads and bobbles for this now. Quite Fun! Take care and stitch on... Visit #2 today....oooo look at the sleeves again ... Snow is falling pretty heavy right now... First snowfall is always a grumble but I will go out later and shovel the front steps and walkway... Have you ever done a count of the number of pouches you have made? I just like to see people doing their own thing for themselves....and if it ends up being a gift..so be it. I always believed that as time passed and I learned more I was just happy to impress myself. Sometimes I watch a second time just to see what is all around you on your work table. Time to go and shovel some snow.... Take care...😘🇨🇦

I found this beautiful vintage wool peach colored blanket in a bunch of storage stuff I am helping sell at a garage sale. I get to keep what I want since I’m doing all the work

Good morning from Toronto. No better way to start the day than with my coffee and watching what you are doing. Such great finds. I would never be able to sleep if I was coming home with packages as you have. That yellow and green crocheted piece is perfect for a project on it's own. I was totally mesmerized looking at all of those pieces..all those doilies...that is what I grew up doing..what my Grandmother taught me. I think my Mom received one every Mother,'s Day for decades and I know they are in those steamer trunks. New Year's resolution to check them out. Those cross stitched framed pieces are so beautiful. Not only alot of work but quite difficult to stitch in the black Aida cloth. Canada Post is still on strike so we are at the point where there is no sense even thinking about mailing anything. Not happy with it all. Trying to think on the positive side .Have my cards for next year....oh well...c'est la vie. Expecting snow today..so not ready.... Have a wonderful day ... Enjoy everything you are doing. Take good care. 😘🇨🇦

Watch this video last night when it came out and today I was in an op shop and found half a green blanket in the junk bin. Gonna wash tomorrow then make a pouch Kate style

Hey Kate! so glad to hear your son is okay after his highway adventures. that's a blessing. your green pack and green blanket are so beautiful and match. can't wait to see you working on the pack and incorporating the gorgeous blanket. your new doilies are so lovely. i can see why you wouldn't want to cut them up. i can't believe i haven't thought of this before but i just realized that on your double sided pieces i don't remember seeing the stitches coming through from one side to the other. do your stitches go all the way through to the other side or do you hide your stitch in a layer so that the second side design isn't full of the other side's stitches? gosh, i do hope that question is clear. thanks so much. linda from california

I would love to come and stitch with you at the green door Kate. 🧵🪡🧵🪡🧵 I’m in a sewing group of 5 and we have been meeting once a month for 18 years. I love it so much. It’s hard to find like minded people who love to stitch these days. My 2 daughters sew but work full time and have kids but always say they would love to come and play in my craft room with me. We do fit it in sometimes. One of my sons sews leather wallets and bags. He’s a doctor so his stitches are perfect. 😂 I’m glad your son is ok. Xxxx
