It was such a great competition. These ladies are all badass and it's going to be an amazing decade ahead. I can never pick an absolute favorite for the women's side though so I always just want them all to feel like they did their best and then I proceed to chew my nails until it's all over. I'm not even sure I can watch Jax. Too much stress. 😎

​@@garysims4491 Oh, people will speak on it. Don't doubt it for a second. lol And I get it but it's never going to be "perfect" because that's impossible. Every single contest it's the same story. Last time it was all about how Funa got robbed. Don't get me wrong because I love Funa and would love her to get a win but I really can't rehash it all again. I spent a lot of time on it after Salt Lake so if by some odd chance you're interested in my take then I wrote (a small book - lol) about the perils scoring/judging on Gifted Hater's channel for a video he did about it just after Salt Lake. If anything though I think Momiji was underscored (and she knew it) and also Keet got robbed on one of her tricks earlier too but all in all I think it was the right result in the end.

Mariah's hard flip was masterfully executed. Launch, rotation and landing were smooth as silk and should've earned an 8+. That trick literally could not have gone any better

It was a 10/10 hardflip for sure. A hardflip alone can't be worth that much though compared to combos and crazier tricks. Even a switch hardflip might not be a 9 club trick.

@@Dyvon.dynamo No one in men's did the stairs because they know it doesn't score well relative to doing a combo or something more technical somewhere else. Also Mariah has a good hard flip but she has done it for years. Andrew Reynolds has the best FS flip ever and can do it on crazy things but you don't see him entering competitions thinking he can win them by doing the same trick again and again for years.
