The fact that these pros can square up the trick they want in 5 tries or less shows how much talent they have.
@jasondashney3 жыл бұрын
Gnarly tricks are more about focus and commitment than talent. There are thousands of guys who could krook an 18. If you can krook an 8 you can krook an 18. Very, very few have the stones to try though. Ryan didn't grow up a gnarly skater as a kid. He turned into that guy after realizing that if you commit 100% you have a good chance of making it. In less than a year he went from local shop sponsored kid who did regular street to a super gnarly guy doing massive rails and gaps. It was amazing to watch. Great guy.
@jshkrl84873 жыл бұрын
@@jasondashney true...however its no coincidence these guys are generally a similar body type, under 5'-6- 5'9, 130-150lbs. they're like fucking acrobats, all bouncy and shit. Its rare to see a dude like...well Jamie, ironically Im talking about this and not even thinking of whose there. Bigger guys tend to fall like a sack of potatoes and as such don't skate this kind of stuff, Jamie is bit of a unicorn, pink rainbow fur and a horn under th hat. just kidding thats stupid, but ya it takes a certain agile type to skate stuff like that even long enough to gain the confidence necessary to get good at it. Im not trying to play devils advocate youre totally right, the body type thing is real too tho.
